Weekend Woundup and Weview November 30

Our Thanksgiving weekend was action packed with family, food, fun and fellowship. We already posted about Thanksgiving dinner at the Morgan's on Thursday. Saturday afternoon we had our Boggs Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time. I hope to post pictures of the dinner tomorrow.

Sunday morning I was scheduled to preach at Dodds (right next door to the Lazy OD Ranch). I sure appreciate Pastor Kelly Rogers making us feel so welcome whenever we are in town. We also had several family members in service that we do not get to see very often. That was good too.

After church Sunday morning several of us ventured down to Lebanon to drink a little salsa at Acapulco.

It was very good as usual. I was going to snap a group picture outside but it was a little too chilly to be standing around for posing for pictures.

Sunday evening we went to home church at Dryden Rd. Our Pastor was gone preaching so our associate Pastor, Bro. Gary Lee was running the service and did and excellent job as usual. It was a super treat to see everyone and we are looking forward to being there Tuesday for our Planning and Vision Service for City Reach Dayton. That is a normal service night for Dryden Rd. but I hope we have a good representation for the Dayton area churches.

It was also a special treat to get to see Bro. Dennis and Sis. Lynn Heath and their children. Sis. Lynn is originally from this area and they were based in Ohio for years as evangelists. I suppose they were here visiting family and Bro. Dennis preached tonight at Dryden Rd. He preached a tremendous message on Faith and it certainly built mine. If the response in the altar was any indication I would say the sermon helped lots of others too.

Bro. Jeff Roberts sent these last two pictures to us. Thanks Bro. Jeff.

Looks like KJ is taking over!

That pretty much wraps up our weekend. Thanks for reading.

Davy
