Kolby Lee and Carson Lee

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for visiting! I have a few things to bring to your attention.

Kolby Lee

Today, we have reason to celebrate. One year ago today, we gained a new family member on the Morgan side.

Kolby Lee Yeager was born! In the blink of an eye, 12 whole months have passed. Now he is a boy on the move!

He is just so precious! We will get to celebrate his birthday this weekend! I plan to have pics from the party next week.

Happy Birthday, Kolby! We love you so much! You make us smile! Thanks for making our world brighter!

Carson Lee

I have mentioned a couple times that my cousin Carson Lee Shoemaker was in need of prayer. Thank you for helping us pray!  He has spent several days in the hospital.

It appeared that he was doing much better. We were thrilled and thankful that he was released from the hospital yesterday. I was excited to get some pictures and videos of smiles and laughs! We had not seen a happy Carson since he got sick.

He was out of the hospital for an hour.  Then he got very sick again. On the recommendation of his pediatrician, they the returned to the ER. I am so sad that the little guy is suffering so much!

Please join our family in praying for our sweet baby Carson! Last night, his mama, Deidre, was asking for intercessory prayer. We know God is able to heal him completely. I am also praying if need be, God gives them answers to what is going on.

I Need You Video

Did you catch the new video that we uploaded to our YouTube channel? It is one of our all time favorite songs titled I Need You.

Thanks to many of you, they have left sweet comments on the video. I also appreciate the many texts that both of us have received since posting it. It is a favorite song of a lot of you!

Thanks for reading! I will be back tomorrow.

I Need You

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for stopping by to visit with us today. Mom and I uploaded a new video on our YouTube channel last night.

I Need You has been a family favorite for decades. We have sung it from coast to coast countless times. The message behind these lyrics will never stop ministering to us and others.

My parents learned  this song from Bro. Derwin Ward in the 80s. Mom knows that he recorded it, but we do not know who wrote this song.

Bro. Derwin’s ministry in preaching, song and piano greatly influenced my parents when they were young. They passed that influence on to me. I am grateful for his impact on our lives!

I am a needy person, when it comes to God! He does not need me or my input. I need Him 24/7, and He is always there. I am blessed!

Friend, He is there for you too. All you have to do is call on Him. He loves you, and God is concerned about you!

Thank you for reading. See you tomorrow!

Sunday Sanity Easter 2025

Hey Friends,

Happy Resurrection Sunday! He has Risen! Friends, our Savior arose from the grave on the third day!

Hallelujah, satan and the tomb could not hold Him! Because He is alive, we have hope forever more!

My Dad posted this poem every Easter. He Wouldn't Stay Dead was his favorite poem! Mom and I were talking last night. It would not be Easter if we didn't share this poem today.

Please take a moment and watch the video below. He first posted this video in 2022. It sure did do my heart good to see him quoting his favorite poem again.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter holiday!

He Wouldn’t Stay Dead
by: Willard G. Thomas

This video was from 2022.

He Wouldn’t Stay Dead
by: Willard G. Thomas

They laid His body in Joseph’s new tomb
And filled His disciples with sorrow and gloom
They did not remember what He had said
That He would die, but He wouldn’t stay dead

Mary came at the break of day
And found the stone was rolled away
She saw an angel and in terror fled
And told His disciples that He didn’t stay dead

In that cold dark tomb, He would not stay
He conquered death and walked away
And now that old grave has lost its fear and dread
He lives again! He wouldn’t stay dead

Full atonement and pardon were made
And forever the sin debt was marked fully paid
The price was His blood as it flowed crimson red
And I’m thankful today that He didn’t stay dead!

Let’s go to our churches and cry aloud
Let’s go to the marketplace and talk to the crowd
Let’s go to the mission fields that lie up ahead
And tell the whole world that He didn’t stay dead!

Because if Jesus Christ had only died
Then the gulf between us and God would still be wide
But thank God He did what He said
He got up out of the ground, He couldn’t stay dead!

Throwback Thursday 100 Days

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for reading. Today, we are throwing it back slightly over a year. Dad shared this video a 100 days post stroke.

It was a great seeing Dad’s recovery progress. The Lord helped him so much! We were so thankful! Mom and I were so proud of Dad for working hard to overcome!

Some people have told me they have recently watched this video again. I love looking back on how God helped us then!

Today marks 5 months since God called Daddy home. We miss him so much! It is still hard to wrap my mind around the fact that Dad is gone!

It comforts my heart to think about Dad walking without need of his walking stick on streets of gold. He is completely whole!  He has been walking in Heaven over 100 days!

Thank you, Lord, for your goodness now and always! We have made it this far because of you! My heart is filled with praise even in the pain of loss.

I will see you tomorrow.

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for visiting. Have you watched our newest video? It was uploaded on Tuesday to our Boggs Family Ministies Youtube channel. Bro. Colton Deane is jamming with Mom and me again. Please check it out!

Last Thursday’s Throwback was about my Uncle Steve. It was his birthday last week. Click here to see his birthday post.

March is also birthday month for a few more special people too. It is time for some belated birthday shoutouts and a few throwback photos too.

My cousin Courtney’s husband Joey Daniels had a birthday on the 8th. Joey has been a great addition to our family! We love you Joey. Thank you for all of your I.T. help!

Our sweet friend Javonia Searcy had a birthday March 9th. It is a holiday that we have to celebrate! We love you Javonia! Thank you for being our friend! You are a ray of sunshine in our lives!

Here is a favorite throwback picture and a couple newer pictures.

My cousin Morgan’s boyfriend Braden Yeager had a birthday on March 22. Braden, thank you for joining right in with our crazy crew!

Morgan joined the birthday club yesterday on the 26th. It was number 22 for her. Where did time go? Morgan has always been so cute! Morgan Rae, we love you to the sun and back! 😆

Through The Fire Featuring Colton Deane

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for visiting. We are delighted to have you drop by!

We have a treat to share today. Here is another video that we recorded while in Florida.

Mom and I had a blast singing with Colton! He is awesome! Thank you, Colton, for allowing us to sing with you and for allowing us to share it with others!

Gerald Crabb wrote this amazing song, Through The Fire, which the Crabb Family first released around 2000. It quickly gained a spot on my favorites list. This song has ministered to me many times. The message never gets old!

I was so happy when Colton pulled the song out while we were singing. I hope you enjoy a glimpse into our fun at Beams of Light Holiness Church! Our audience this night was Bro. Phillip and Sis. Deidra Deane, my Gran, Papaw Danny and Farrell Stearns. They were great cheerleaders!

See you all tomorrow!

No Isolation Allowed

Hey Friends,

Happy Saturday! I hope you survived the storms that have hounded a massive portion of our country! Today, we are forecasted to have lots of wind.

Did you catch the video posted on our YouTube channel yesterday? We appreciate the great feedback!

No Isolation Allowed

Here is something to think about today.

  1 Peter 5:8 (KJV):
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

Isolation is a tactic used of the devil just like the lion to get you separated from help so you can be taken down.

it is important to keep yourself connected with other believers of like faith.  Having the support of others is very beneficial in living a victorious Christian life.

This is really true not only for the Christian but for everyone.  When you have your team cheering you on you can certainly find courage to fight on!

So…..last night I met with some of my team. God has blessed me a fantastic group of friends that pray for me and cheer me on! Some of us gathered for a girls night out.

We had fun painting pottery at a local mall.  We were busy painting, but here is a few picturs of our fun.

Then we went to eat Mexican. We had a great night of fellowship!

The lighting is so bad on this shot. One of the restaurant employees took it. This is the best I could do even with editing.🥲

It was very refreshing to be with these lovely ladies for the evening! Hopefully we can do it again soon!

Thank you for reading.

Peace In Trusting Featuring Colton Deane

 Hey Friends,

We have a video to share today. I mentioned our fun singing with the fabulous Colton Deane last week in Florida and Mississippi! We captured some songs on video. We will probably share most of them over time!

Peace In Trusting is today’s video. This was written by Sonya Isaacs Yeary, Jimmy Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. The Isaacs recorded and released the song in 2020.

I love the message in the song. It speaks deeply to my soul! This song has carried me through countless days and long nights! I wrote about this song twice before, in 2021 and 2024

I suggested this song when we were singing with Colton, but he had not heard it. Later, Mom circled back to it, and we taught it to him. This was recorded on his third time singing it! He nails it—just proof he can do it amazingly!

Now you get to hear it! I hope you enjoy it! Colton, thank you for singing with us! We had a blast, and hopefully, we can sing with you again!

Thank you for visiting. See you tomorrow!

Foodie Friday 2/21/25

 Hey Friends,

Last week on Foodie Friday, here, I shared a favorite food memory with my Dad that he capture on video.

Well, the very next day we visited another family favorite buffet. He videoed that experience and shared it too.

We loved Berry’s Seafood Buffet! They had a place to park the bus, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great! We stopped, whenever possible. Maybe Mom and I can go back soon!

I thought it was fitting to share the video here for this week's Foodie Friday installment. I hope you enjoy.

See you tomorrow!

Throwback Thursday 2/20/25

 Hey Friends,

Welcome to Throwback Thursday. Today, we are going back to January 29th 2021. The last week of January we had a schedule change due to sickness. Honestly, that became our norm, and we learned to roll with the punches. We were still hours away, so we changed our route and plans.

The new plan was to do ministry bookwork by day for my parents and revival on YouTube at night. A truckstop parking lot was home for a few days. We had cell signal and food and the comforts of the BoggsMobile. We were set.

By Thursday we completed our travel to our next stop, Bernice, Louisiana. The last night of revival was a soundcheck singalong. It was a great service! We did not realize how special that moment would be for our family.

Sunday morning Dad and I both woke up sick. By 9AM we confirmed it was our first known round of Covid. We had not spent time around people in a week.

Well we rolled with the punches. That afternoon we began the journey home. It took us 2 and half days to complete the trip. Dad’s health battles were just beginning. We would be home for 7 months. He never fully recovered.

This became our last video before life changed! Wow, I am glad we captured this moment forever!  The video has been showing up in my suggested videos for a while. We have been receiving a few new comments on it. I decided to share it today.

Thanks for reading. See you tomorrow!

Foodie Friday 2/14/25

 Hey Friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day! We truly love all of our friends and are thankful to have you in our lives!

Today, we do miss Daddy very dearly! He was the best Valentine!

Most of the time when Dad gave a gift on his own, it was cash. Who doesn't love cash?

He was not a shopper, so it was always special when Daddy would do something to show us his love! When he gave me a gift, I always cherished it a little extra.

Today, one Valentine's memory comes to my mind: We were in Foley, Alabama. He got up early one morning and slipped out of the bus before Mom and I were awake.

He had ordered us to sleep a little extra that day. When we woke, he had come home with food and “real” Yeti 30 oz tumblers for Mom and me.

We were supposed to be on a diet, but he had filled the cups full of chocolates! It made my day! I will have to use that cup today.

Some of my best memories of Dad were enjoying great meals! We had our favorite places to eat across the nation. We would dream about some of those for months before our schedule led us in that direction again.

One such restaurant we stumbled upon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is called El Magay, Mexican Buffet. this was a regular stop on our route, even if we had to manipulate the route to get us there. El Magey was our favorite Mexican buffet!

I thought it was fitting to share this video again today. Dad originally recorded and posted this video in February 2022.

It makes for a good Foodie Friday post. The video brings back lots of great memories! I hope you enjoy it! Just remember, the food tasted even better than it looks!

See you next time.

Happy Birthday Daddy 2025

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for dropping by for a visit! We have been in reflection mode this week. A couple of big days are here this week, back to back.

January 15th, last year, Daddy came home from the hospital after the stroke. Click here to visit yesterday’s post

January 16th is my Dad’s birthday! Dad did not like a lot of attention on his birthday. He always wanted to make a big deal about mine or Mom’s, but not his! A blog post is just about all I could get by doing for him.

He does not get a choice this year! We are spending today honoring the great man I got to call Daddy!

Mom and I sat down and reflected on Dad’s last days on earth. He taught us to love God and His greatness always! Dad’s love for his Great God was evident until the end.

Also, we included Dad singing If You Could See Me Now. This video was recorded as part of a church service at my house in April of 2020. We also played it at Dad’s celebration of life. Some people have requested to hear the song again. I figured his birthday was a great day to share it again.

I will close with a note for my Daddy. See you tomorrow.

Happy birthday, Daddy! I love you, “More than a hog loves slop”! You will forever be my superhero!

This is the first time in my lifetime that I could not celebrate your birthday with you in person. Over the years we have celebrated your birthday in a myriad of states and ways! You may not physically be here, but we are still marking this extra special date on the calendar.

In a while we will enjoy a delicious dinner with several family members in your honor! I know there will be tears, laughter and lots of memories! I so wish you could be here with us! You are always dearly missed!

 Love Your Baby Girl, Odie!

Do I Trust You

 Hey Friends,

Kelly and Odie here. We hope you are having a great day. Our Waynesville, Ohio, beach cottage is currently covered in snow. Right now the snow is beautiful!  Mom took this picture late last night.

We are grateful for the nice, warm home that keeps us snug!

Today, we uploaded a new video to the Boggs Family Ministries YouTube channel. Click here to visit our channel.

In this video, we give a small update and sing a favorite song of ours. We went way back to the archives for a song written by Twila Paris.

Do I Trust You is an older song that has helped us through many rough spots. We have sang it around the piano since I was very young. Now, these lyrics bring us solace once more.

We are grateful that we can trust the Lord in every part of life! He is definitely trustworthy. Even though things do not always go our desired direction, we Trust God!

Hopefully, you find encouragement to trust God in your cumstance too! I know He will be there for you as well!

Thanks for stopping by to visit with us! See you tomorrow.

A Word For Wednesday, A Perfect Prayer For Perilous Times, Boggs Family Ministries

We are happy to bring you Word For Wednesday. A few moments ago I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please watch and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

Jude gives us a horrific picture of the apostasy of the last days. But first, he offers a prayer for those of us who live in that apostasy. This prayer is perfect for our perilous times. Jude 1:2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Wow! What an amazing prayer! May God grant us mercy that we desperately need and peace that passes all understanding and wrap us in the love of God that never fails! And the key to that prayer is for God to multiply all of that! God does not add to us, He multiplies His goodness and His attributes in our lives! Praise God!

Thank you for stopping by today.

A Word for Wednesday, How Deeply May I Drink?

We are happy to bring you Word For Wednesday. A few moments ago I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please watch and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. God will supply All your needs. We seem to relate this mostly to money, but God's storehouse contains much more than money. God's riches contain peace, joy, forgiveness, deliverance, love, compassion and millions of other wonderful things for you and you can drink all you want! God has given you the whole glass and you may drink as deeply as you desire.

Thank you for stopping by today.
