Ellisville Mother's Day Banquet 2026

 Hey Friends,

Mom and I were invited to attend a Mother's Day banquet. It took place at First Assembly in Ellisville, Mississippi, on Saturday evening.

The First Assembly Ladies put on a great banquet to honor mothers. We were thrilled to be there for this year's event. They had the hall decorated beautifully! The Theme was a spring tea party. The food was delicious, and the fellowship was sweet!

At the last minute, we were asked to sing a song as well. It was an adventure, but we had fun. We learned a new song, sang to a soundtrack, and I had trouble getting my part done. We tried the song again. It was a whole ordeal, but the ladies got a comedy act they will not forget.

Sis. Tina Stringfellow gave a great devotion. She spoke to us about hearing God’s voice during chaos. It was a challenging but encouraging devotion.

It was wonderful to spend time with my Mama and several precious friends. Ellisville friends, thank you for including us! We love y'all

I will close with pictures from the evening. They had a photo booth set up. The lights made Mom’s hair look purple. 😂 My crazy friends were also trying to get me to smile. They were treating me like a baby/toddler. I think they were successful. I was cracking up!

See you tomorrow.

Revival In Progress Thursday Night

 Hey Friends,

Last night, Thursday, was the first night of Dryden Road Pentecostal Church's Pastor Appreciation revival. We had a great service.

The Switzers did not make it for service last night. They had.  Someone sick connected to their church.  It is totally understandable, but we missed them. Hopefully, they can make it to revival tonight.

Bro. Bill Finley made the trip from Kentucky to preach last night. He was fired up and preached from Revelation chapter 4. Soon, he had us longing for Heaven, looking for it and making certain we were ready to go.

We enjoyed fellowshipping with some of our church family after the service. We are blessed with the best friends and family.

Here are a few pictures I snapped last night. Thanks for reading.

Beacon of Hope Homecoming 2026

 Hey Friends,

We had a great weekend in Staunton "Stanton",  Virginia. Pastor Keith May called several weeks ago and invited us to be a part of their church's homecoming.

Revival started Friday night, and the Lord met us in a great way around the altars. There was a change in the night speaker due to unforeseen circumstances. Bro. Kenson Wilson and his family ended up doing the nights. They did a fabulous job!

Bro. Kenson preached fantastically! Mom and I enjoyed spending time with this wonderfully talented family! It was a joy to work alongside them!

Several of our friends visited the meeting. It was great to be with all of them! Many of them we have not seen in a long time, and it did our hearts so good to see them!

We love the congregation at Beacon of Hope Holiness Church. Our family first connected with some of the people over 35 years ago! It is always great to see them again and spend time with them!

Pastor Keith And Sis. Gwen May are excellent host. We so appreciate them inviting us to be part of Homecoming 2026. Thank you all so much for everything!

I will let the pictures I snapped this weekend finish out the post. I hope you enjoy them. See you all tomorrow!
