We Now Have Something To Build On!

Have you ever seen toooooo many pictures of one house? No? Well there is a first time for everything! We have oodles of pictures for you today of the house at the Lazy OD Ranch!

We have been so close to going completely sidegoggled and off schedule that we are very excited that this phase of construction is back to tracking with the original program! David Bulter has worked hard to get us to this point and we are thankful.

We are also thankful for your prayers and thankful that God has heard your prayers. Two weeks ago it looked impossible to jump to the right place on schedule and last week it still seemed unlikely. But here we are on Thursday May 18th and we are nearly ready to frame the house as planned on May 23rd! Praise God!

Tuesday was a full day of preparation with the plumber doing some last minute corrections and David Butler getting the slab ready for inspection. His inspections went off without a hitch as expected.

A few pictures from Tuesday.

David with the inspector.

Wednesday morning came with the promise of concrete and the hottest day of the year so far in Waynesville, Ohio. I tried to comfort David Butler by reminding him that it would be much hotter later in the summer. He said that did not help him much right now.

These pictures are from my Dad, Cousin Lisa and my brother. I appreciate them keeping us informed. Dad spent most of the day out there in the heat!

They had about a 45 MPH wind come up out of the south west after they poured the last open section below. It was drying too quickly but David worked it out.

I left after a great service Wednesday night in Hodgenville and arrived at the barn right at 1:00 AM. This is what the house looked like when I arrived.

If the weather cooperates there is more concrete scheduled later this morning at 9:30 AM for the garage floor. I am on my way to bed so I can be ready for that.

Thanks for reading today.

Davy
