Sunday In Abeokuta - Christ Ambassadors Holiness Church

Sunday was a super great day at Christ Ambassadors Holiness Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. We love this place and we love these people.
The services were wonderful with many responding to the challenge to come closer to God Sunday morning. God also touched lives in the outdoor crusade Sunday night with over two dozen responding to the altar call for salvation.

Praise God for his help and his strength and for his strong arm of salvation! He is truly mighty to save.

I have several pictures from the day and some description as we go along. The pictures did not load easily tonight so I hope that is not an indication of things to come. Hopefully we will be able to post all week.

The motel we are staying in this year in Abeokuta is probably the best one we have stayed in here. We stayed in this same place in 2013. The fact that Kelly Jo nor I had any recollection of it is testimony to how rushed and full that trip was. As soon as we drove in, we remembered it.

They are adding on to the hotel.

They provide one complementary breakfast each night and this is a picture of it below.

Bro. Shobanke's church had this portrait painted for him in 2014. This is the first time we have seen it.

KJ being measured for new clothes.

We had candy for the Sunday School children and that is ALWAYS fun. It is probably as much fun for me as it is for them.

As I said, the response Sunday morning was very encouraging.

Brother Shobanke daughters, Sis. Rebecca and Sis. Ruth prepared a beautiful meal for us.

This is Sis. Rebecca holding her little David. He is my name sake. I will have more pictures of him later.

This is Sis. Ruth's newest baby, Gideon.

These were the temperatures in Abeokuta and Ohio right before before church. Notice the 79° spread between the "feels like" temperatures.

It gets dark only about 40 minutes after church starts here so even though the temperature was still high, it felt very comfortable.

I appreciate the great crowd and the great response in the altar. We have three more nights of outdoor crusade and we are looking forward to many more souls being saved and people being healed.

Thank you very much for reading.
