2021 Photo Memories

Hey Friends,

Welcome to 2022! This is Odie here to wish you a Happy New Year! I am excited about a new page in life.

I am reminded of a couple verses found in Lamentation 3:22-23.
22 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning:
Great is thy faithfulness.

As I approached 2022, part of me was nervous about what lay ahead for this year. The last two years have made me gun shy of plans. Will things actually go according to plan? I am deciding once again to trust God to take care of me. The anticipation of God's plan is better than the nervousness of the unknown.

Looking Back
Most of you know that 2021 was a challenging year for us. It did not go according to our plans. One thing is certain God was in control of the whole situation. He carried us through a rough year. I am incredibly grateful! God was the reason that we survived the struggles of Covid.

Today we are going to scroll down memory lane. I had planned to choose 21 highlights from last year, but that was impossible. How in the world could I settle on just 21? My camera roll for this year was full of countless great memories. Therefore, this post became 2021 Photo Memories.

The good memories started in January and continued all year! I am thankful for the new friends that we made last year. We got to spend a lot of time at home, which turned into a huge blessing. Which meant we could be with family more often and attend home church more than usual. I really can not express how much my family and church family's encouragement helped me through 2021.

My photo memories also reminded me of the value of friendship. We were blessed to see many of our friends from different areas of the country. I treasure those times even more now.

My final conclusion, 2021, had some bumpy weeks and months, parts of which I do not want to re-live. In the end, It was a good year full of blessings!

Thank you for coming along on my life. I am glad to share my memories and adventures with you, my friends. Many of you had stood by us and prayed for us through the good and bad times. I am so thankful for you! I pray that God blesses you immensely in 2022.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite photo memories of 2021. I include some captions along the way too.
