Vintage View Vednesday Vacation 2012 Part 2

As Sally churns barely offshore in the gulf, we seem to be out of reach of the storm for now.🙌🙌 We are parked in a rest area in Mississippi for the second night in a row, running the generator to keep cool. We are working and getting a lot done AND resting too.

This rest area has 24 hour armed security and they were perfectly cool with us parking here a bit under the circumstances. Please pray for all the folks in the path of the storm. I have been checking in with friends and as of yesterday evening, they were mostly getting rain with light wind.

Vintage View Vednesday
I posted pictures on Vintage View Vednesday a few weeks ago of our very first cruise in 2012. Some of you encouraged me to post more from that trip and I just happen to have many more hundreds of pictures.

These pictures are from the ship and our entrance into port at Tenerife of the Canary Islands. We also took a bus tour to the active volcano. It was cool to drive through the clouds and then look down on them while basking in the sunshine. It was a beautiful stop!

Thank you for stopping in our port. It is great to have you.
