The Isaacs 2018 Round 2

Hey Friends,

Happy Saturday, welcome to another weekend. We had a great week with Pastor Eddy Sullivan and the congregation at Bibleway Assembly. My parents were here last year while I was on vacation. All year I heard about the great revival they had at Bibleway without me. I was glad to meet these sweet people this time around. They welcomed us with open arms! We are truly blessed to meet some great people in our travels.

Today the BoggsMobile is supposed to be heading toward Texas, if everything goes according to plan. We are excited to visit the great state of Texas for a few weeks.

Will we see you soon? Remember to check out our schedule by clicking here. We always love having friends join us for a service! Dad wrote a post recently about changes coming to our website soon. You can read that post here if you missed the update.

In my post last week I told you about seeing the Isaacs in Haughton, Louisiana. That was our first time being with the Isaacs this year. I did not know when I prepared last week's post that I would be doing an Isaacs post two weeks in a row.

We love getting to cross paths with them whenever possible! Sometimes we go months between getting to see them and playing musical states. This time around I only had to wait 5 days between visits.

Last Friday afternoon the Green Machine took us to Opp, Alabama. We arrived at Westview Baptist Church as the Isaacs were preparing for sound check. It is always interesting to see all the behind the scenes work that goes into a concert. They have to do a lot of preparation to get everything ready.

I love me some Isaacs! They are my absolute favorite singers and musicians and they are wonderful people. I will admit they do go out of their way to make me feel loved and special.  Mom says I am spoiled.😀 To all The Isaacs, I love you all! Thanks for all you do to make me smile! It is always a pleasure to be with my special family. You all are awesome!

At 6 PM it was show time. The Isaacs took the stage and soon had me wanting to fly as they sang “Bird On A Wing”. I was soaring the rest of the evening. They did a mix of old and new songs throughout the concert. It was an amazing night. I know I had just seen them 5 nights before but it was a night of home runs. At the final note of “He Ain’t Never Done Me Nothing But Good” I had to pull myself back down to earth again. It was an incredible night.

We have faithful blog readers in the Opp, Alabama area. I thought about you. I am sorry if you missed this concert. It was totally awesome!! Below are some pictures from my phone of the evening.

A little selfie fun with my cute buddy Gatlyn. He is a sweetheart!

Well, that is a wrap on The Isaacs 2018 Round 2. I do not have a clue when or where round 3 will take place but you will hear about it here. I do not think I will see them again before my next post, but you never know.

Thank you for reading today. I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
