Have A Nice Thanksgiving Day

Pastor Darius Templeton wrote this in his devotion yesterday. A "little boy was given an orange by a man. The boy's mother asked, 'What do you say to the nice man?' The little boy thought and handed the orange back and said, 'Peel it."

That is hilarious!

We have so much to be thankful for in our lives. We have reasonably good health, wonderful family, great friends and we are blessed to make our living by doing something we love to do! We have a car to drive, a place to live (And it has wheels,YAY!), plenty to eat and good clothes to wear.

On top of all that and a million more things, we have been forgiven of our sins and adopted into the family of God. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ and after all of this life is over, we are going to spend eternity in Heaven with our Savior! Wow! What an amazing life to live!

Wherever you are today, whatever you are doing take time to be thankful. In Paul's terrible description of the last days in II Timothy 3 he lists a dominate trait of last day people. He says people will be unthankful, unholy. Unthankful followed quickly by unholy. God cleanse our hearts with a spirit of gratitude, gratefulness and thanksgiving.

Thank you for being a big part of our lives. We are thankful for it. May God bless you and your family and friends with a great day.

Davy
