Our Weekend Report July 5, 2021

Our weekend began and ended with church. We began Friday morning with service at 9:30 AM in Charlotte, North Carolina and ended with service Sunday evening at our home church at Dryden Rd. in Dayton, Ohio. Almost everything else sailed by in a blur.

We started home early Saturday morning and by 11:30, we were having KJo's birthday lunch at her choice of Golden Corral in Beckley, West Virginia. We have been through Beckley many times, but I do not think we have ever stopped.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and soon we were back on the road. There was no need to break land speed records so we took our time and arrived home Saturday evening. Odie's yard was out of control and had to be conquered and that took most of the daylight remaining.

While we were traveling home in the Jeep, Odie was taking in a parade in Waynesville with cousin Lisa. From the looks of the pictures, there were many other friends and family sitting near.

I was not able to go to church Sunday morning, but Odie had already arranged to catch a ride.

I was very glad to be able to go to church Sunday night even though I was walking like my frame was bent like a 1974 Nova.😁

Sunday night we were in our proper position on the front seat, left side at Dryden, worshipping with our brothers and sisters and being fed God's Word by our Pastor. I was a bit weary in body, but felt wonderful in my soul.

Thank you for tuning in today.

Davy
