Weekend Write Up 7/19/21

It has been a wonderful weekend. I have made great progress on a few projects, we have eaten wonderful meals with friends and enjoyed the presence of the Lord in two services Sunday. Yep, that is a super great weekend.

Friday I worked in the barn mostly. I installed a door on the Corn Crib and started putting some wood on the west side wall of the barn. I will tell you more about that later.

Saturday, Bro. Carmin Dottry from church came to help us with some work on the barn and I appreciate it so much. We offered him Mexican food, of course!😁

Saturday afternoon, we emptied the holding tanks, cranked the bus, unhooked from utilities and went for a ride. We drove to Harrison, Ohio and met our dear friend, Pastor Wade Hicks for supper at Cracker Barrel. It was so good to see him and spend some time with him.

Odie captured a few pictures of the bus backing out the drive and pulling away.

Sunday morning we preached for Pastor Wade Hicks at West Harrison Pentecostal Church. We love these dear friends and I had a ball preaching to them and visiting after.

Sunday afternoon we drove the bus to Pentecostal Faith Church in New Miami. Pastor Steven Allen opened his pulpit to us a few months ago. He told me to contact him the moment we felt physically able. It was great to be with them again.

You would never know it by the few pictures we took, but we love those folks too.

After church, we visited for quite a while then cranked the bus and drove about an hour home. There was just a hint of daylight as we pulled next to the barn, but it vanished fast. I love the long days of summer.

Odie was at Dryden both services Sunday and she contributed a few pictures too. Thank you, Odie.

That wraps up our weekend. Another exciting week begins soon!
