You Version Bible Application

Hey Friends,

This is Odie checking in with you. Thank you for spending part of your day here. It is great to be visiting with you. I hope you are doing well.

Happy Birthday

I can not let today pass without giving a special shout out to my Dad. Today, January 16, is his birthday. Happy Birthday, Daddy, I love you so much! I am thankful for you and the Godly example that you live before me on a daily basis! I hope you have a fabulous birthday, week, month and year. You definitely deserve to be celebrated all year!

iPhone Apps

In my posts, sometimes, I like to tell you about apps that I find useful. Maybe you will find them useful too. What are your favorite apps right now? Stay tuned, I want to share with you the app that I like to use for my Bible reading right now.

Pal Reader was a wonderful Bible app that we loved for years. My Dad and I both have posted about in the past. I know some of you liked using it too. If you have Pal Reader, are you still able to use the program? Dad's stopped working a while back. I have still been able to use it on my iPad.

You Version App

The current Bible app that I am using  on my phone is called You Version. I really like this app and it is free. You can find it in the Apple App Store, search for You Version. They also have a website, which you can locate by clicking here.

Do you already use You Version? What are your favorite features? It is very nice that some portions of the app do not require a cellular data or WiFi connection. Just so you know, some of the app's features do require a connection.

I will tell you about three areas of You Version that I use often
1. I love the ability to listen to the Bible being read aloud. The narrator of the King James Version has a pleasant voice. It is easy to listen and follow along while he speaks.
2. I like all the different reading plans and devotions that You Version offers. It is extremely nice to be able to have options with me everywhere.
3. The ability to search the Bible. It is extremely very easy to use.

Now is a great time to refresh your mind in God's word. The Bible is precious and it is a blessing that we can gain comfort, guidance and so much more from its pages.

I will leave you with a verse that gave me strength recently. I am so thankful for the hope that we have in God! Have a great weekend.

Psalm 130:5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope

Odie
