What's Up Weekend? 8/10/2020

Friday night was the last night of Tent/Cruise-In Revival and a great night it was! We are still praising God for helping people that night and all week long. This was the first time we have had revival in this format and we are thankful it was well received.

Here are a few pictures from Friday night.

This is the video from Friday night.

Saturday morning my Dad and Mom, Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla and Levi Rogers helped us take the tent down and get everything packed up.

Later in the day we took the BoggsMobile to Anchor of Hope and unloaded our sound equipment again and set things up for church. We were blessed to be able to fellowship with the Mayhans some more too.

Sunday we had three services at Anchor of Hope and each one was good. We sang and preached in the 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM services. We appreciate Pastor EJ Lamb and his folks for inviting us in and treating us so well. It was busy, but it was a wonderful day.

After the evening service, several folks helped us break things down, carry to the bus and load it up. We visited with Pastor Lamb and his family a while and then we retreated to the BoggsMobile. Odie caught a ride home, but we stayed put. We are less than 10 miles from the Lazy OD Ranch, but it felt good to go to bed. We can finish the drive today.

One thing I did late Sunday night is look at the fridge in the bus. It quit cooling Friday morning and our days have not allowed much time to look it over. My Dad did look at it Saturday for a few minutes and it seems the evaporator fan is not running.

The fridge is original to the bus so it is at least 25 years old. It is built in and can not be pulled out for repairs easily. I could not make any progress. It may be time to bite the bullet and have Jeff Rowe (THE bus guy) replace it. It is difficult to live in here long without a fridge.

That pretty much sums up our weekend. Thank you for tuning in.

Davy
