Nigeria Update #4 Part 2 - Sunday Night 12/2/12

Update #4 Part 2
We were not able to post from Nigeria as we had planned. This is an update that I wrote while there. Please scroll down for additional updates or see a list of Recent Posts to the left.

I can not describe the feeling of the service tonight. We started the open air Gospel Crusade tonight at the new Branch church that Bro. Shobanke is building. It was awesome.

The crowd was great. The saints worshipped and prayed. The Lord anointed the preaching and people were saved. It does not get much better than that.

We have two more nights there and we are looking for many more souls to be saved. With all the people coming around it is much like tent revival and you all know how much I love tent revival.

The new branch is out in the country and the city of Abeokuta is expanding that direction. The block walls are up, the roof is on and the floor is poured.

I believe this is going to be a great location for a church. God is going to save and help many people in that place. I intend to help them finish that building as soon as possible.

I appreciate all of you that purposed to pray for service #3 and #4. God certainly heard your prayer.

We are hoping we sleep much better tonight. It honestly can not get much worse for Kelly Jo.

The pictures from the Gospel Crusade Sunday night are below. I hope you are enjoying all of the pictures.

God bless,

Davy

There are a few pictures of the inside of the future church building. I believe Bro. Shobanke told me it is 35x70.

This church branch is in the country near a small village. The city of Abeokuta is growing that direction. Last year the lot the building is on was just bush.

The crusade was held in front of the new church.

Many people rode to the services in this truck. I daresay they were excited to get to church.
