Metropolis, Illinois

We moved less than twenty miles across the Ohio River to Metropolis Illinois today. We are parked in Fort Massac State Park. It is a beautiful place right along the River. We have parked here a few times before and we always enjoy it. Today is absolutely gorgeous! It might reach 70 today with sunshine and the wind blowing. That's pretty close to perfect in my book. We were parked here in the fall one year as the leaves were changing. We have pictures of that visit HERE.

Last night we closed revival at Southside in Paducah. Pastor Martinez is still very sore from his accident Tuesday so he wasn't able to make it. We missed him terribly but we had a very good service. Please keep praying for him and his little family. After seeing pictures of his bike and the truck that pulled in front of him it is even more obvious that God protected Bro. Martinez. Praise God for sparing his life.

We are preaching and singing two nights for Pastor Russell Gilbert at Cherry Street Pentecostal. The church is very near the state park and our Denali is in the shop about 2.5 miles away. We are expecting to have a great time here before moving on to Missouri on Saturday.

I have been working on a post about some of the things God has been moving in for us. I hope to have it ready to go up tomorrow. God bless you all.

Davy
