View Out The Front Window

Check out our posts from the last week at the links below.

When I pulled out of Bristow Assembly late in the morning Saturday and pointed the BoggsMobile toward Ohio I felt the adrenalin rush that had been pushing me on this whirlwind City Reach tour, drain right out of my very being. I knew at that moment I would be hard pressed to make it through the mountains 525 miles home.

I would have quit a lot sooner than I did but I wanted to get most of the mountains behind me. I finally stopped in Wheeling, West Virginia a shade over 200 miles from home and that is where Sunday morning finds us.

Our View This Week

Our view may have changed more this week than any week before. It has been unusual for us, to say the least, but I will write more about that later in the week. You came today to see pictures!

This is our view out the front door at Victory Tabernacle near Ft. Worth, Texas.

This is our view out the front window at Victory.

This is our view out the front window at Walmart in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

I happened to think to snap pictures in the same places the next morning after the sun came up.

And our view out the front window. We usually park behind the house in the picture below and wire into the panel there. Since we were going to be there less than 24 hours we just pulled into the parking lot.

Finally, this is our view out the front door in the Cabella's parking lot near Wheeling, West Virginia.

If you are keeping count, that makes seven different views from Monday evening to Saturday evening. Tomorrow's view from the inside of the barn is going to look pretty good!

I hope you have a great Sunday.

A Little Christmas Miracle

Hey Friends,

Happy Saturday, this is Odie checking in from a moving BoggsMobile. It is Christmas time and I absolutely love this time of year. I have been pondering the Christmas Story. I am in awe at God's love for us. He gave us the Greatest Gift, His only Son, on that first Christmas! I am thankful for the Christmas Miracle of the LIFE that changed my life!

This time of year I love the music, lights, decorations and shopping. We thrive on Christmas music at our house. Our "opening day" for Christmas music is June 1st.

Christmas music is about the only thing playing on my devices right now. My favorite group, The Isaacs, have a fabulous Christmas project. If it's not in your collection I highly recommend adding  "Christmas" by The Isaacs to your library. They have a special in their store at http://www.theisaacs.com/p/store.html?m=1 or it is available on iTunes
https://itun.es/us/R76SQ

Faithful readers know I love my Isaacs music! One of my favorite things is seeing our family perform live. This year we have only crossed paths with them twice. Once in January, then again in February. I am going into Isaacs withdrawals.

Hopefully in 2016 we can see them somewhere along the road. I am excited that they have been in the studio working on a new project. The few clips that I have heard have only whetted my appetite for more. I will let you know when the new project is available.

This has been a happy week for the Isaacs. My cousin Sonya Isaacs Yeary welcomed her second son on Tuesday.

Sonya, her husband Jimmy and big brother, Ayden experienced their own Christmas miracle on December 8th. Gatlyn Solomon Yeary is an answer to many prayers! We are thankful for his safe arrival.

Ayden and Gatlyn

He is a precious gift! Gatlyn weighed in at 8lbs 10oz and 21in long. I can not wait to meet my newest cousin.

Below I posted the links to my two 2015 Isaacs concerts posts. Also I included a few of my favorite pictures from this year of Sonya and Ayden.

I tried to locate the picture from December 2011 when I first met Ayden James at 4 months old. I could not find it right off. It is hard to believe he is now 4 years old. He will be a great big brother!

Well, have a fantastic weekend.

Thursday At Bible Holiness - Elkton, Virginia

We made it to Elkton, Virginia Thursday in time for church at Bible Holiness. We were here for Homecoming revival in May and had a wonderful week. We did not expect to be with them again so quickly but we are super glad to be back. Pastor Brent Gabbard invited us to preach when he found out we were going to be in Bristow for the City Reach service and I am happy we could make it happen.

It was good to see everyone again and to experience the presence of God in the service as well. We had a good altar service and we are expecting to hear good reports in the coming days and weeks of God's goodness and wondrous works.

Later today we plan to move over to Bristow, Virginia for our last City Reach Planning and Vision service of this whirlwind tour. We are looking forward to being with Pastor Ken Taylor and his folks and whoever else wants to join us for City Reach Washington D.C. There is a lot of excitement across the country about bringing revival to our nation's capital and I hope to share some of that excitement with the local folks in the D.C. area.

Please pray that God will bring the right people to the meeting and that I will speak the right words with the right spirit. God certainly knows how to do it.

I hope you enjoy a few pictures from Bible Holiness.

New Hope Deliverance Outreach

New Hope Deliverance Outreach has been started recently in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma as an outreach to men and women recently released from jail. They are also ministering to folks battling substance abuse. Bro. Larry Landress is advising in this new effort and he asked me if I would mind stopping in to preach Tuesday night. Who me? Absolutely!

We had planned to start toward Virginia Tuesday but my excitement at the prospect of preaching in the outreach carried the day. I am so glad Bro. Larry invited me and I am so glad we were blessed to stay. The whole evening was an absolute treat.

When we first arrived in town Tuesday we parked the bus at Walmart and then went with Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary to lunch. We enjoyed a great meal and even better visit with our dear friends. We have not seen them enough this last year and we intend to make up for it!

We had a great crowd and a wonderful time Tuesday night at the outreach. God moved in the service and we had a 100% response in the altar from everyone physically able. Praise God for His help! I love watching God reach for people that need Him and I love to see people respond.

We were also blessed to see several friends that we do not get to see very often. We first preached in Pauls Valley over 25 years ago in August/September of 1990 and God blessed us with some life long friends in that revival. Some of those we see a few times each year but many of the ones we saw Tuesday we do not see very often. It was a real blessing to be with them again.

We have made tremendous progress on our cross country trek and we should be in Elkton, Virginia in plenty of time for church tonight.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoy the pictures from Tuesday night.

Aunt China Upton

Another of my mother's sisters passed away Sunday. Aunt China Upton was a precious lady and we loved her very much. She had five beautiful daughters and had been a widow for over 30 years.

Aunt China was very gracious and always made a big deal out of our singing and my preaching. She was a joy to have in service with us whenever she could be there. Aunt China had been pretty feeble for quite a while but loved to go to church.

Here she is in revival with us at Anchor of Hope in Lebanon, Ohio in August with her daughter Terry from El Paso.

This is with my Mother dear in the mix.

Please pray for my Mother and her family. They have had several heartaches recently in the immediate family. She has lost two sisters, a nephew and another nephew's wife since late in August.

We are on a long and quick trip across country right now. We left Pauls Valley, Oklahoma after church last night and we plan to be in Elkton, Virginia for church Thursday night. There are a few miles that need to be covered in between and hopefully when you read this, we are clicking them off.

Thanks for reading.
