Super Great Sunday

Sunday was a super great day for us with two super great services. It was wonderful to have Bro. Shobanke with us in both services. He was a blessing to both churches we visited and God used him as he prayed for those that came forward.

We were at Pastor Danny Morgan's church, House of Deliverance, in Hillsboro, Ohio Sunday morning. It was good to be with Kelly Jo's family and watch the Lord move among them. We had a wonderful Sunday morning service.

Sunday night we were at Dodds with Pastor Rex Lloyd and his folks and we had a wonderful time there as well. It is always good to be at Dodds when we are home. They have been so good to allow us to park at their church and it is a great blessing to us.

We are off to pick up Bro. Shobanke for lunch and we plan to take him with us to Dryden Rd. with us tonight. The church is in revival with Bro. Douglas Meadow and we are excited about that.

God bless you all. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

1951 Farmall H Tractor

One of my first cousins, Gary Coffman, loves old tractors. He recently restored an old tractor that belonged to our grandpa Godfrey Isaacs. I was able to see it completed for the first time today.

It is a 1951 Farmall "H" model tractor. It is in perfect condition now! Gary really did a super job. Isn't it beautiful?

I spent some of Saturday with Dad and Mom again while Kelly Jo and Odie worked on spring cleaning the bus for the second day in a row. They have worked hard but they did take a little time for Mexican food each day. Thankfully they will work for food.

Dad is gaining a little each day. Thank God for helping him. It will be difficult for him to sit still for very long but we want him to heal properly. Thank you for praying for him.

Bro. Shobanke is in the USA right now. He arrived this week. I drove over to Richmond, Indiana to pick him up Saturday evening. It is so good to see him again. I am supposed to preach in Hillsboro Sunday morning and Waynesville Sunday night. I am excited about having Bro. Shobanke with us in these services. It should be an exciting Sunday.

We have gathered a pretty good offering for Bro. Shobanke's new church plant. I will tell you more about that later. It is not too late to be involved in that project if you want to. I appreciate everyone that has helped.

God bless you all. I hope you have a great Sunday.

Seeing Double - 2006 Scion xB RS 3.0

In 2006 the special release version of the 2006 Scion xB was called Release Series 3.0. They made 2200 of them and they were all Envy Green. Each one of them has a identification plate on the dash. Ours is numbered 201 in the series. What are the chances that two of them would be in the same small town?

Evidently the odds are pretty good. We have seen four of them in relatively small places that we have been too in the last year. One lives in Lolo, Montana. One lives in Paducah, Kentucky. One lives in Fair Hope, Alabama. And one lives right here in Waynesville, Ohio!

We saw the one in Waynesville right after we bought ours last May. Thursday we were in town and spotted the other one parked near the post office. I pulled in behind it and Kelly Jo got out and snapped a few pictures with my phone. Pretty cool, huh?

It is a little different than ours. Ours has updated wheels, updated tail lights and several updated dents and  scratches. Ours even has a front bumper that has been "kissed" by Bambi before she scampered off into the night. Other than those few things, they are exactly alike!

Later in the day we were at my parents house. The driveway was nearly full so I pulled up into the side yard. We came out in the evening to leave and we had lost the Green Machine. It was hidden in the beautiful green grass. I kept pushing Odie around the yard in her wheel chair until we finally bumped into the car.

It is a good thing it was not eaten by a grasshopper!

My Dad is home and doing well. He has long road of recovery ahead but God has helped him tremendously. Thank you so much for praying for him.

Ozark Bible Institute Overcomers

Update from Odie:

Great news!!!! My Papaw was able to come home this afternoon. He is glad to be home. Thanks again for your prayers. I know he appreciates them. Papaw told me yesterday, when I would  tell him about friends checking on him, "tell them I'm still alive." He needs lots of rest. I may have to tie him down to keep him from over doing it. We are thankful he is on the mend.

The Overcomer choir from OBI were singing again in the area Wednesday night. Aunt Karen and Isaac allowed me to ride with them to the service. I was glad for the chance to hear the choir again.

My cousin Deidre Boggs is in the choir this year. Deidre just completed her freshman year at OBI. I am so proud of her!!! She testified great last night. If you get the chance to see the choir on this tour she is the tall blonde in the soprano section.

Several of my friends also are in the choir. It was so good to see all of them. One family I was glad to see was Bro. Alex and Sis. Jessie Cooper. Both have been my friends for a long time. Now they have the addition of Bodie to their little family. He was was born premature last fall. Bodie is a precious miracle!!!

Here are some pictures from last night.
