What's Up, Weekend? 6/22/2020

Friday we finished the drive home from Missouri, arriving at the Lazy OD Ranch at 4:30 PM after about 370 miles. It felt great to be home, but we did not have time to bask in the feeling.

By 6:30 we were cleaned up, dressed up and ready to have church at Odie's house. We had agreed a few weeks ago to participate in a Zoom church service with Pastor Johnson George, Sis. Binu and the International Assembly of God in Warren, Michigan.

We love these fine saints of God and we were thrilled to worship with them and minister to them. We had never used Zoom, but Pastor Johnson George walked us through it and soon we were on the way.

The Zoom meeting was also attended by some Pastors and others in India, even though it was very early on Saturday morning there. Pastor Benny Moses from India said that I was able to minister to them in India without getting on a plane and without the requirement of obtaining a Visa to visit them.😁

Needless to say, we enjoyed the service very much! We have already received an invitation to minister directly on a Zoom call with a ministry group in India soon. We are excited to be a part of that.

I think we could have slept in Saturday morning, but the rental car needed to be returned by 9:00 AM.

That was completed with no problems and we went about our normal day. I had some weeds to spray, but most of my day was spent in sermon preparation and KJo went to see her Dad and Mom before Father's Day.

Sunday morning I attended several online services and at 1:00 PM I walked to Odie's. She was providing most of the food and KJo was doing most of the cooking for my Father's Day lunch. It was a super tremendous meal!

Thank you very much, Odie and KJo! I love you both!

Sunday evening we drove to West Harrison, Indiana to sing and preach for our friends at the Pentecostal Tabernacle and Pastor Wade Hicks. We appreciated the invitation and we enjoyed being with them very much.

We drove home and arrived at the Ranch by 9:00. It was still daylight! I love long summer days. Today they begin getting shorter, but I will hold on to the long days as long as I can.

That wraps up our weekend. Thank you for stopping by today.

Davy
