Adding To Montana Memories
It's always a treat to visit the Metzger's and the Sun Valley Church. We never know exactly what is in store for us here but we always know it will be enjoyable.
We have many fond memories in Montana. Long time readers know that Kelly Jo and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary out here. Those weeks will be hard to beat as the very best weeks in our lives. We looked forward to it for two years and now it's hard to believe we are looking back on it in the past by over a year. Time really does fly.
This place and these people will forever have a very special place in our hearts. This week will no doubt add to those special feelings. At least two events will make this week wonderful.
First, we are having a youth revival this week until Wednesday night. We are expecting God to do great things in our lives as we worship, hear His Word and seek His perfect will in our lives. Last night was a very good start of revival.
Secondly, once revival is finished preparations will kick into high gear for the grand finale of the week. On Friday afternoon the Youth Pastor for Sun Valley Church will marry the Pastor's daughter. Nathan Jeffreys will wed Leah Metzger and I have the distinct honor and privilege of officiating the ceremony.
Leah is the fourth child of Bro. and Sis. Metzger and the third daughter. She was born on the mission field in Sierra Leone, West Africa and has been raised in a Pastor's home on the mission field in Montana.
Nathan was raised in a Godly home and great church in West Virginia. His father is also in the ministry and is a well respected preacher.
These two young people have a heart for God and it is such a thrill to take part in the beginning of their life together. God is already using Nathan and Leah to be a blessing and there is no limit to what God can do with them as a team.
I think you can tell we are just a little bit excited to be in Montana. I am sure we will be posting a full report on all of the fun with plenty of pictures included. Below are a few pictures from yesterday.
God bless each one.

Travel to Montana
Travel to Montana

Today is another travel day. My Dad took us to the airport in The General and our plane to Minneapolis left at 6:50 AM. It was a small jet but it had nice new leather seats.
Odie had to be airlifted into the plane though. Here she goes...
She made it safe and sound.
We are in Minnesota now waiting for our plane to Missoula. We should arrive there by 2:00 and get to the Metzger's around 3:00. That should get us there in time to freshen up and run to church.
It looked good on paper...
We are having youth revival Sunday through Wednesday. Please pray that God gives us a great move among the saints and lost folks too.
I will try to post pictures of the Metzger clan and the church as soon as we can. God bless you all.

Calvary Evangelistic Center Pastor William Hill
Boy Howdy! When I said I didn't have much phone service in Independence, Iowa I was not kidding! AT&T has yet to discover Independence, Iowa but thankfully the Lord is well acquainted with Independence, Calvary Evangelistic Center and Pastor William Hill. The Lord met with us each night and we are very thankful.
This was our first revival for Pastor Hill but we have been familiar with him for several years. Bro. Hill has written several books, traveled extensively in foreign missions and ministered all over America singing and preaching. Bro. and Sis. Hill pioneered Calvary Center 46 years ago and have labored there faithfully all through the years. They are super people and dedicated to the Lord and His work. You can find out more about Pastor Hill, his books and the church HERE. I highly recommend all of the literature he has available.
It was our great pleasure to meet the Hill's and their fine folks. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and good services too. Friday night slipped up on us much too soon and we found ourselves wanting to stay longer as we do nearly every week. It is nice when folks are asking you to stay rather than wondering aloud when you are going to leave!
We left after church last night and pointed the BoggsMobile toward the east. I had a really good night driving and pulled into Waynesville about 11:00 this morning. I slept a few hours and as I prepare this post Kelly Jo is busy preparing for us to fly to Montana Sunday morning. The BoggsMobile will be in good hands here and the General will be close by. Thanks for praying for us.

Friends Dropping In...
We made it to Iowa Sunday and started revival for Pastor William Hill. I snapped some pictures but AT&T has very little service here so posting will be difficult. I had the following post ready so here it is...
While in Tennessee last week we had several family and friends drop in for a visit. It was a great pleasure to have them all! We snapped a few pictures and here they are....

My Mom and Dad along with my cousin Lisa Isaacs and neice Deidre came Friday for lunch and stayed for church that night. It "just happened" to be Odie's Birthday so we all went to lunch at our favorite little Italian place in the area.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
On Thursday our friends from Richton, Mississippi stopped in for a short visit too. Pastor Scott and Sis. Kim Morris were passing through with their girls Reagan and Riley. We met them for lunch Thursday at Sonny's. It was nice of them to take time out of their vacation for us. We had a great time and a great meal...

Our dear friends and missionaries Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary Landress stopped in for church on Monday and Tuesday and camped with us at Caney Creek. We love it when our paths cross and we are able to spend time with the Landress family. We fell in love with them when we preached revival in their home church in August of 1990. Yep, that was in the last century. We really are OLD friends!
