Tent Revival in Richton, Mississippi Day 1
Bro. Morris and his church are using a friends tent and it was set up when we arrived so our part seemed so easy compared to the previous tent revivals this summer. (Big Grin) We set up platforms and PA and we were ready to go. The tent is in the city park and it is a perfect location. We are able to park the BoggsMobile here as well so that is nice too. We are so thankful for the cooperation of the city of Richton. That is a great blessing. I will try to snap a few pictures of the whole set up later today.
Last night was definitely the coolest night we have had under the tent this year. It was in the mid 50s by the time service was over. The steam coming off the top of my head was a little distracting for some folks. Lol. They have nice heaters under the tent though and it is supposed to be warmer each night.
We had a great treat last night as well. Pastor Joe Diminico from Omaha, Nebraska was passing through the area and arranged his schedule so that he could be in service with us. Bro. Joe is a great friend and we were so glad to see him for a few hours and to be in service with him too. I failed to take a picture of him but he is worshipping in the background in a picture I took of Odie singing during altar service. Maybe I can find an old picture and post it later this week. Thanks for making such an effort to be in church with us Bro. Joe!
There is something really special going on in Richton. Pray that God will have His way in this meeting. God bless you every one.

A Busy Sunday and Tent Revival on Monday
Today is a busy day beginning with Homecoming service this morning at Tanner Williams. After a break for a tremendous Homecoming meal we will go back into the church for the afternoon singing. When everything wraps up here we will drive up to the Choc-Wa fellowship meeting where we are supposed to sing and preach Sunday night.
We will come back to Tanner Williams and the BoggsMobile Sunday night. Monday morning we will say good bye to Pastor Williamson and move on up to Richton, Mississippi.
Monday night we will start our last tent revival of the year for Pastor Scott Morris. They have erected the tent in a park in town and have been praying and working in the community. We are expecting God to give us souls in Richton. Will you pray for us?
Yes, it is a busy time but the hour is late and we must win men to Christ while we can. God bless you all.

A Great Sunday!
It proved to be a wise move. Wise moves aren't the most common thing for me but even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then! By the time we arrived in Ellisville, Mississippi I was Way ready to stop.
We unloaded the 2000 GMC Yukon Denali (Still not settled on a name), rearranged the trailer (Without the Denali in the trailer all of the weight is in the front) and went to bed.
We had a wonderful service Sunday morning in Ellisville with Pastor Kenny Morris and his folks. We appreciate them allowing us to park for the night and throwing the door of hospitality wide open for us. We will be seeing some of them again next week in Richton Tent Revival. We shared a quick meal at KFC with Bro. and Sis. Morris and then hit the ground running.
We stopped by Richton and dropped the trailer. We will be right back there next Monday so there was no need in pulling it to Alabama and right back. Pastor Scott Morris was so kind to help me with the trailer and make my Sunday a lot easier.
We finished the trip to Wilmer, Alabama and the Apostle Donald C. Williamson was standing outside as the Welcome Committee to Tanner Williams Holiness Church. It is so good to be back.
This is one of our favorite places for many reasons, not the least of which is the warm friendship of Bro. and Sis. Williamson and their people. It is so easy to love folks when they are expressing their love for you and these folks do. The young people always make Odie feel a part of their group and that is special to her.
Another reason, OF COURSE, is the good food. They have great cooks in this church. Next Sunday is Homecoming so I'll be able to "sample" their very best recipes. Also the Boiling Pot is close by and we plan to visit there too. If you haven't been reading the blog long, don't worry I'm sure I'll be posting pictures.
Also the place we park is like our own personal RV Park during the day. It is away from the road and down over the hill behind the church. There are trees, flowers and even a bench to sit on. It is a very special place to park and we love that too.
Another reason we love to come to Tanner Williams is that we always have great church here! Last night was a fine example and we are expecting great things from God this week. Pray that God will have his way among us, will you?
God bless all.
