More Wedding Pictures

Hey it's Odie again today. Mom and Dad both have been sick since Thursday. Dad asked me to get another post ready. He said his brain is not working to well yet. Please pray for Mom and Dad.

We are having a great time here in Waynesboro, Mississippi. Pastor Jason Merritt and congregation have been so kind to us. They really been having church this week. Monday night was a great service. Two more people were saved and two were filled with the Holy Ghost. God is moving in a powerful way.

It has rained almost nonstop since Sunday. Thank God the tornadoes missed us!!! Others not that far away were not as fortunate. Some of the church folk lost their home. Please pray for those effected by the storms.

Yesterday I posted the wedding pictures from my iPad. Deidre took rehearsal pics Thursday on my phone. I had a few others from my trip too. I will share some of those with you now.

Mr. & Mrs. Brad Bohon

Dad told you I was gone Thursday through Saturday to Joplin, Missouri. I had the privilege of being in the wedding of my wonderful friend Bethany Crafton. Bethany is now married to Brad Bohon. Brad has been my friend for a long time also. I'm so glad two of my friends found their soul mates!!!

Let me give you a little background, you're probably saying those names are familiar. Bethany is the oldest daughter of Bro. Mike & Sis. Denise Crafton, of Joplin, Missouri. Brad is the oldest son of Bro. Tommy & Sis. Lisa Bohon of Texarkana, Arkansas.

The wedding was wonderful!!! I am so glad I was able to be there to watch my friends start their journey together. Thank you Brad and Beth for including me!! I love you both so much!!! Thanks for everything.

Also thanks to my Missouri parents for taking care of me while I was there!! For years now Bethany, Anna & Callie have been my sisters. Bro. & Sis. Crafton treat me as one of their own.

An added bonus was getting to see many friends while in Joplin. Several of my friends that attend OBI in Neosho were at the wedding. Thursday my cousin Deidre was waiting for my plane to arrive in Joplin. Saturday she met me at the airport with Starbucks. As we pulled away from the gate I saw her waving goodbye.

I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Thanks, Deidre, for being my photographer. Brad and Bethany had Artistic Expressions do the professional pictures. I know they will be awesome. They usually post pictures of their weddings on their blog. www.joplinexpressions.com

Another Travel Day

Saturday was another travel day for us. We left the Flying J near McCalla, Alabama Saturday morning and drove the 180 miles to Little Rock Assembly in Waynesboro without stopping. Bro. Garmin did take us down a nasty little one lane road for about 4 miles. He does that some time and I probably would have caught it had I been feeling better. Thankfully we made it since there was no place to turn around until about 1/2 mile from the end.

Pastor Jason Merritt met us at the church and soon we were parked, wired in and ready to rest. Well, coughing pretty much prevented rest so we set up the sound system and about 5:20 I left in the Green Machine for the airport in Jackson, Mississippi to pick up Odie.

I was there right on time and Odie and I arrived back at the BoggsMobile near 11:00 PM. It was a 290 mile round trip but Odie is now safe and sound on the ground in the Greyhound. Not really in a Greyhound, but it sounded good to my fever induced brain. Odie had a great trip and I will push her gently to post all about it later this week.

Odie strapped into the aisle chair ready for the plane.

Odie and Deidre at the Joplin airport

This is our first time preaching revival here at this church. I will tell you all about the revival later but I will tell you that we got off to a wonderful start this morning with three people seeking salvation. It was awesome and we praise God for it. Odie has the only strong voice among us right now and since she was sick last week her voice is not all that strong either. Please pray that God will continue to help us.

I ended up driving 1010 miles since Thursday morning not counting the running back and forth in Nashville Thursday and Friday. No wonder I am tired. I used to think I was a wimp if I could not drive 1000 miles a day. Maybe I am a wimp, because I sure do not want to do it now.

The rain has set in and it is time for a nap.
