No Miss November

Notice the number next to November in the picture of our blog below.  That's right... 30 days in November and 30 posts.  One post per day without missing a day!

We didn't miss a day the whole month. Not much of an accomplishment in the grand scheme of things but not too shabby for us.  We didn't start out to post every day and we don't think we could keep it up all the time due to time constraints and lack of internet service in many places but at least we did it for one month.

I noticed on about the 7th that we had put up a post each day and that's when Odie and I determined to try to work toward a NO Miss November. I will not tell you who did the bulk of the work.  I'll let you look and determine for yourself. lol!

I don't know if it was posting every day or posting a wider variety of content but our traffic was up quite a bit throughout the month and that is good.  It is reassuring to know that folks are interested in visiting our blog and hopefully taking time to read the posts.  We receive emails and text message responses to the blog on a regular basis.  Now if we could only get you all to comment here on the blog....

The number one complaint from our regular website was there is no place to leave a comment or sign a guestbook.  We solved that with this blog but many of you have gone shy on us... lol

We want you to know that we love to here from you.  Thanks to those of you who keep in touch with us in other ways and a special thanks to those that leave comments.  Here's hoping that you millions OK...thousands of others that visit here will be brave enough to comment on a post or two very soon!

God bless and thanks for reading.

Bro. Ben and Sis. Opal Lee Shaw

Bro. Ben Shaw is one of a kind.  He is posing for the pictures above and below in one of my hats.  The picture below also includes his gracious wife.

Bro. Shaw pastored the Fairland Church near Fouke, AR for many many years.  He is well respected and beloved by folks all over the country.  He and his wife have been so kind to us through the years and we deeply appreciate their friendship.  We were blessed to have them attend two nights of our revival in Keller, Texas and then to preach for them Tuesday the 23rd.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed their fellowship very much.  I learn so much from Bro. Shaw by just listening during our conversations.  His years of experience and dedication to God have provided him a huge amount of spiritual insight.  He is one of those men that oozes integrity.  I am thankful to be blessed to know many man like that.

Bro. Shaw would say that I am holding him up too high and that is exactly what I would expect him to say.  Like all of our really great men around the Holiness churches he considers himself very low. He is full of humility yet God has used him mightily throughout his life.

Bro. Shaw is currently serving as Interim Pastor at Victory Tabernacle Holiness Church in Watauga, Texas.  They desire for God to use them there in guiding that fine bunch of folks.  I have a feeling that God's hand is already at work.  That's the kind of God we serve.

May God bless Bro. and Sis. Shaw

Gainesville, TX House of Prayer

We are in Gainesville, Texas this week in revival at the House of Prayer.  The pastor is Bro. R.G. Logan.  The Logan's have been our friends for several years and its always fun to be here with them and their folks. We have always had good services with folks praying in the altars and receiving help from the Lord. Please pray that God visits us this week in a special way.  Bro. Logan has had several health issues the last few years and needs a touch from Heaven.  We desire a Holy Ghost revival and healing for Bro. Logan would be a welcomed bonus.  Will you help us pray?

We have enjoyed parking here over Thanksgiving break.  It is a very nice place to park and also very private behind the church. We are so thankful the church has made it available to us. I think the BoggsMobile might have enjoyed it as much as we did... The bus has nearly 1000 more miles to carry us to our next revival so it needs all the rest it can get!

The girls drove down to the DFW area to shop some on Friday and had a good time without spending much money. I stayed home and enjoyed a day to myself catching up on reading, studying and computer work.  It was one of the best shopping days I have had in a while!
