We thought you might like to see some pictures of our home time this Christmas season. After Odie and I both sent pictures in, we noticed a common trait. Most of our home pictures run along a common stream, FOOD!
It may not look like it, but we are very busy with other things besides food. I have a couple of barn projects that are occupying most of my time and we doing some car shopping too. KJo and Odie have been preparing for Christmas, visiting a little with family and Kjo helps me with whatever I am doing most days.
But the fact remains, most of our home pictures the last several days are of food. Try not to judge us, just enjoy!
Thank you for stopping by today.

Also, last night we posted a short Christmas Sunday service from Odie's house.
Thursday we sent out our snail mail Christmas Newsletter and we want you to able to see that as well. This newsletter serves as our Christmas card too.
I will post the text of the Newsletter below as well. Thank you for stopping by.
Davy
Hello, Everyone! This is Davy, Kelly and Odie Boggs wishing you a very Merry Christmas2020! It has been a year of twists, turns and uncertainty for everyone. For most of us, nothing is more fearful than the thing that is unknown. If we can see the way, perceive the path and know the next variable, we somehow think we can handle the situation better. This year has not lent itself to “seeing”, “perceiving” or “knowing” at all.
Every day, every circumstance, every new direction has been unknowable for us. Therefore fear, uncertainty and anxiety have reigned supreme all over the world. How did this get started? What comes next? Does this work? Is that the answer? When will this end? Yet, it is not only coronavirus and COVID 19. This year has been full of political disagreement, economic upheaval, racial injustices, anger, violence, confusion and hate, hate, hate! Wow! What a year! AND it shows no sign of stopping or even slowing down. Some of you have suffered horrible losses, more of you have endured incredible sickness, others have held on tightly for the whole unbelievable ride. Yet, here we are, hanging on, still upright and moving forward by God’s strength! God is truly our refuge in this dreadful storm! Thank God for His grace. Thank God for His mercy. Thank God for His love. Thank God for His compassion, Thank God for His provision. Thank God for His protection.
Thank God for His direction. Brothers and Sisters, we have all made it to this point, due to the help of God! In my mind, because of all this, 2020 has been an amazing year. In all of the difficulty,we have been blessed beyond measure, because we are still standing in His grace. Hallelujah! Changes in scheduling due to COVID caused us to miss seeing a lot of you this year. We hate that! Thank you for praying for us. Thank you for checking on us. Thank you for encouraging us. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 according to His will. Until then, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy NewYear!
Today is day 7 of our 12 Days of Christmas on our YouTube Channel. I hope you have been enjoying each day. I think you will love the instrumental from KJo, Three Faithful Heralds.
There has been no change in the view out of our bus window, so how about a view of some of Odie's decorations?
That is beautiful!
And a change of view from the door of the barn one morning this week.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great Sunday!
This is Day 6 of 12 Days of Christmas on our YouTube Channel. Thank you for taking a few minutes each day to watch. Let us know what you think.
My Friend Drew Spencer
Hey Friends,
This is Odie checking in with you today. I am thrilled to see you here on the blog. I hope that you are doing well!
We have been blessed immensely with fabulous friends! All of our years of traveling has allowed us to meet many wonderful people. A lot of those friends are now part of our "road family" and I can not imagine our life without them. Many miles usually keep us separated from our friends.I have learned to appreciate any visits with our amazing friends.
My Friend Drew Spencer
I like to introduce you to some of our precious friends along the way. Today I want you to meet my buddy, Drew Spencer. He is the second son of Bro. Dale and Sis. Crystal Spencer and they live in Riverdale, California. We love the entire family but Drew holds an extra special place in our hearts.
We have watched him grow from an infant into a handsome young man. God has done some great things for him. I am believing even more answered prayers are ahead for Drew. He is a portrait of an overcomer. He is an inspiration to me!
Drew Man, as I call him, always has a smile that is contagious! Just thinking about him makes us get a big smile. He is so sweet and attentive. He is a great helper to me when we are with his family! Drew is quick to compliment or encourage us.
Uplifting would be a good word to describe my buddy. It is a privilege to be his friend! He knows how to make any day brighter. I love it when I get an occasional text or phone call from him. It puts a spring in my step, or should I say, a bounce in my rolls.
Drew was able to watch several services of our online revival during the initial pandemic lockdown. I loved seeing his comments pop up on my screen. He was quick to say amen and back the preaching. It was encouraging to us!
We love you so much, Drew Man! Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in my life. you will never know how much you truly inspire and encourage me. Never lose your smile and gentle nature! I can not wait to see what God has planned for you. I will be cheering you on all the way! I am looking forward to seeing you again!
I went through our blog archives and I found a few pictures of Drew through the years. I will share them below. I hope that you have a fantastic day!

Building A Church In Castle Rock
I told you about preaching for Pastor James McCoy the last Sunday we were in Colorado. We had outdoor service the first Sunday in December in Castle Rock, Colorado. There was snow on the ground, but it was 60 degrees. It almost felt sort of warm standing in the sun. We had a wonderful service and we loved getting to be with Bro. James and his people.
I did receive a few questions about us having service outside in December. I do not know everything, but I do have answers for that.
Liberty Holiness Church in Castle Rock has been leasing a children's dance studio for their services for a few years. It has suited them perfectly. It was in town, it was a great meeting place and most of all it was affordable in an extremely unaffordable city.
They were leasing the worship space from a business that was leasing the whole building from the owner. The dance studio used the building during the day and the church used it on Sundays and sometimes at night. When Colorado locked down businesses, the dance studio could not operate. Eventually, the dance studio could not afford their lease and lost their business.
Since the church was sub-leasing from the dance studio, they no longer had access to the building. Ugh!
All spring and summer the church has been having service in the yard of the McCoy's house when weather permitted it. Someone came through and preached for them and had the idea for the church to build a pole barn for services. Several churches got on board and now they have a pole barn up with a concrete floor.
What you see above is almost completely paid for. It will take several more thousand to finish inside, but they are well on their way to having it completed enough to have church service. We have helped twice and we intend to help some more as we are able. I thought that some of you might want to get involved too.
I will put the mailing address and PayPal address below and you can contribute directly to the church if you like.
There is another way you can help too. The church needs favor with the county. If I understand correctly, the county was OK with them having services in the building as long as the congregation was under a certain number. The county is crawfishing on that now and they need God to settle this for them.
Please pray that God will work all of this out and provide everything they need to have church in that building on that land.
This is Day 4 of 12 Days of Christmas on our YouTube Channel. Thank you for taking a few minutes each day to watch. Let us know what you think.
Roadside Coincidences
I mentioned on Mile Markers recently that we were able to detour a few miles to visit friends. We were so blessed to do that.
While writing that post, I began thinking of several times that friends and acquaintances have spotted us while going down the road. We have been spotted by family members, church people and even other evangelists.
Twice recently we have been spotted on the interstate by friends that called or text to say they saw us. The conversation usually starts something like this. "I first saw the bus and then I saw the green car with gold rims and I thought it had to be you." 😂 That is so funny.
Several years ago an old friend called after he passed us and recognized the bus. It just so happened that we were planning to stop at the next exit for lunch and he lived off that next exit. He called his dad, who is a pastor and also our friend, and soon we were eating lunch with two old friends and laughing our heads off about old times.
We were traveling out west somewhere late at night one time and Odie was on the phone with her cousin Deidre. She was on choir tour with the Ozark Bible Institute and they were in their bus going the opposite direction of us on the same interstate. We were able to flash our lights and honk our horns as we passed in the night.
One time, almost seven years ago, a distant cousin called me from two cars in front of us. We had just started having a small mechanical problem and he, being an old trucker, was able to help me diagnose it along the side of the road. That was a pretty neat blessing! The man I needed just happened to be there and he just happened to recognize us and call me.
A few hours later we met with Benji Burris and his family for a meal. They were traveling from California to Virginia. He had noticed earlier in the day that our paths would cross in Knoxville that day and he called to see what time we would be going through. What an awesome treat on the road.
I belong to a forum of Prevost owners. There are about 4000 members and these guys have guided us tremendously through bus problems over the years. One of them flagged me down on the road one time and we talked for a few minutes. We had never met and he had no idea what I looked like, but he recognized the BoggsMobile.
You never know what we will find out here on the road. If you see us, do not wait for me to see you. I am usually so occupied with keeping the BoggsMobile on the road and checking air pressure and checking coolant temperature. I might never see you!
Hey, thank you for stopping in today. We appreciate that a lot.
