What's Up Weekend?

The weekdays and weekends are all running together for me. Does anyone else feel the same way? I am usually able to divide the days because of the weekend. We are in church Monday night through Friday night on most weeks. We travel on most Saturdays and we go to church twice on Sunday.

The Saturday travel and different schedule on Sunday give my mind a framework for time. Since we are now not traveling on Saturday and not going to church on Sunday morning, the days are all running together. I am a day or two off nearly every day.😁

I listen to lots of preaching on Sunday and I did that yesterday. I try to take it into my ear and into my spirit all day long. I listen to preaching in three time zones and that amounts to preaching about all day. That helps me discern the days a little.

Yesterday was a great day. I listened to my Pastor, Bro. Bennie Sutherland teaching Sunday School. Then throughout the day and evening, I heard our Associate Pastor, Bro. Gary Lee, Pastor E.J. Lamb, Pastor Andy Stringfellow, Pastor Alan Harris, Pastor Jared Burris. Yep, I got a good dose of preaching. I will listen to a few more tomorrow.

Saturday I spent most of the day in my barn study reading and seeking after the Lord. I was trying to be ready for revival over the weekend, but I also needed some direction for our future. We are less than three weeks from going out for revival. I needed to know that we were making plans to do the right thing.

Friday I spent a few minutes finishing the stair rail project in the barn and Saturday Odie had a picnic with cousin Lisa, complete with Skyline Chili and social distancing.

We had three great services of revival over the weekend including our Sunday Night Singalong.

Sunday night I invited my sister Theresa to sing a special song with us. My Dad had requested a song for Singalong that the Isaacs wrote and recorded. The second verse is about Odie and it is kind of weird for Odie to sing it. Theresa had helped us with it before and we were thrilled she came to help Sunday. Thank you, Sister!

Theresa sent these pictures that she took from the Green Room.

Here is the video from Sunday night.

We will continue revival all this week. Thank you for joining us today.

God Is Faithful

Sunday Morning Sanity
There are two important things to remember about celery.
Number One: Celery is 95% water.
Number Two: Celery is 100% NOT pizza!

Have a super great Sunday.

God Is Able To Remove The Label

God Is Able to Remove the Label
Last night's service has about 11 minutes of static beginning at the 43 minute mark. You may have to turn up the volume to hear the preaching. We apologize for the annoyance. We are trying to get to the bottom of the disturbance right in the midst of an important part of the preaching.

Life thrusts us into some hard places and then sometimes our choices compound the problem. We become labeled and defined. We wear our label as does the Apostle Thomas.

The whole world knows him as Doubting Thomas because of an eight day period of doubt. His doubt disappeared once he had a fresh encounter with the resurrected Christ. Thomas went on to be a missionary in southern India and millions of people are in Heaven today because of the preaching and life of Thomas.

Oh, God, give us a fresh encounter with the resurrected Christ and remove our labels. Pull us past our defining moments in life that we can be brand new creatures in you!

Hallelujah!

Revival In Pictures Waynesville, OH 6.0

The Way Out of Weariness

This weekend we will be wrapping up our sixth week of online revival and we are still having a great time. We are praising God for helping and encouraging people all over the USA and in other countries. This week we received several emails and messages with descriptions and details of God's work among His people and we are amazed. Hallelujah!

We have been crying great big tears of joy upon reading and hearing the testimonies of what God has done. He knows exactly what we need and he knows exactly what we need to hear.

We gathered several pictures from the week in revival and this is the day to show you those. I think every week of revival has involved mowing grass and this is starting to feel ridiculous.😉 I have not mowed the grass this much since we were building the house in the spring and summer of 2017.

I think you already know we had some tacos and some salsa once or five times this week.

We got together (apart) with Pastor EJ Lamb and his family for some more socially distant fellowship. Of course, salsa was involved!

At a funeral last week, the funeral director, Brad Conner, had a neat holder for his iPad to record the services. I am using my iPhone to record and it turns out the company, iOgrapher has the same setup for phones. This thing makes recording a little easier and also gives me a place to mount lights and microphones.

KJo fixed Italian style tacos, a first for us. Delicious!

Alvin, Belinda and Hannah Uselton have been participating in revival in Texas.

Jimmie Radcliffe- Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Kellie Nelson- Easley, South Carolina

Jacqueline Coffman- Kettering, Ohio
I don’t think Albany is going to want to go back to normal church. Lol

The Zerbels- Neosho, Missouri
After Bro Davy’s encouraging message we see this. I literally opened our back door and took this picture! Praise the Lord! We needed this.

Sis. Debbie Eaton- Evansville, Indiana

Carter and Hudson Lamb- Wilmington, Ohio

Pastor Alan and Sis. Tammy Harris- Central City, Kentucky

Bro. Norman and Sis. Ruth Ann Logsdon- Central City, Kentucky

That's all folks! See you tonight at revival.

No Fences

God Picks Up Lost Coins

No Fences
The property that is now the Lazy OD Ranch was originally three lots. The lot farthest east was a 75 foot wide lot with a house and then two 100 foot lots. This three lot property was bought and sold several times in the 1960s and 1970s.

The last owner built a pole barn for his business in 1982 on one of the 100 foot lots. At some point, many years ago, he sold the house and kept the two lots that we purchased from his widow in December 2014. She had been renting out the barn and the fence at the road and toward the church had fallen into disrepair.

Shortly after we bought the property, my Dad removed the fence in between the church and our property. It was falling down and it was dangerous to stand next to the fence. The fence by the road was in better shape. My cousin Lisa painted that fence and it looked great.

Alas, five+ years later we needed to make a decision. It was time to either remove the front fence or put some time and money into it. We decided to take it out and take it out we did.

We removed most of the fence boards last week. Most of them were spongy and the boards easily pulled away from the nails on the posts.

Monday we cut the remaining fence boards and removed the posts with the tractor.

Yep, that is KJo the tractor driver. Is there anything that girl can not do?

Tuesday was supposed to be a rainy day but finally the weather guessers missed the forecast in our favor! We took advantage of the sunshine and filled in the holes from the fence posts with some small gravel I had in a pile.

This will be a whole lot easier to mow!

Tomorrow we will have a few pictures from the week in revival. See you then, by God's grace.
