Lauren Elizabeth Osborn

Hi!

This is Odie and it is once again Saturday. I hope you had a great week. We had a superb week. The Lord blessed us with a wonderful tent revival. It was so encouraging to have a move of God here at home. Last night was the closing service of tent revival and we had several people in the altar seeking God for salvation. Praise God!

I received good news from the eye doctor this week. Wednesday I went back for a check up with the Neuro-ophthalmologist. I am praising God for a good report! My eyes are continuing to get better. My left eye that was completely blind for 9 days in April 2014 is now 20/25!  God is so awesome!

Last Sunday was graduation for Waynesville High School. My cousin Lauren Osborn graduated. I was thrilled to be there to cheer as she received her diploma.

It is difficult to believe our "Baby Lauren" has graduated!  She is the baby granddaughter of our crew. Lauren has always had a special place in our hearts. When she was a baby she wrapped Uncle Davy around her finger. She said Davy before she said Mama and Dad has never forgotten it.

Lauren, we love you so much! Hold tight to God wherever life takes you!

Below I have some throwback pictures just for old time sake. Also I posted pictures from graduation.

Lauren poses for a picture Sunday at Church.

Fun With Friends In Elkton, Virginia

Hey happy Saturday! I hope you all have had a wonderful week. Our week here in Virginia has been great. The Lord blessed us with a super services at Lydia Mountain Chapel! God really help some people and it was good to be a part of it.

It was a pleasure to be with Pastor Eddie Deane and his family. Bro. Buzzy, Sis. Mabel, Bro. Eddie, Sis. Tina and Bro. Jordan have been longtime friends of ours. We do not get to see them as often as we would like to but we always have a bundle of fun with them. It was great to laugh at our old memories and to make new ones along the way!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous this week. I am thankful for sunshine and warm temperatures. It is especially pretty here in the mountains.

Thursday afternoon I had the opportunity to spend some time with a couple of other very special friends. I went to McDonald's and the park with Sis. Ashlee Noe and Sis. Brittany Gabbard. Ashlee's two adorable children Kari and Malachi provided the entertainment along with two of their little friends from church.

I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with Ashlee and Brittany. We enjoyed visiting while the children played. It was a good break for me. I grew up playing with Ashlee when we would go to Bond Church and campmeeting and it is always great to see her again. She has been a good friend.

I remember clearly when Brittany was born. She has grown to be a fine young lady and it was great to visit with her too. I think we all had a good time. As you can see in the pictures below the Kids had a good time too.

I hope you have an excellent weekend. If all goes well we plan to travel today. We look forward to revival with Pastor Ken Taylor at Bristow Assembly. If you are near Bristow, Virginia.  We would love to have you join us Sunday through Wednesday.
