Hey Friends,
My friends in the Kewer and extended families need prayer. Tuesday night, Bro. John Kewer suddenly went to Heaven. His passing is a shock to so many.
Family and friends are still trying to wrap their heads around this reality. Bro. Kewer has always been a solid beacon for his family, church and friends. He was a wonderful man of God and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tuesday night was horrible for so many, but it was amazing for Bro. Kewer. He left this life in an instant, then He met Jesus, as well as many family members and friends who had gone before him. I know the reunion was sweet! I can only imagine how great it really was!
We saw him and Sis. Connie in March at PFYC. It was so incredible to see our dear friends again. They are precious people. We had not been able to connect with them for a very long time! I was so thankful they made a special stop at our table to talk to us!
I am glad I snapped this photo to remember this moment forever. Thinking back over our conversation, Bro. Kewer expressed his condolences to me about Dad’s passing. He said he missed Dad, and would see him again in Heaven. We had no idea how quickly that would happen.
I am thankful I had the privilege of knowing this man of God as my friend. I spent time with his daughters and our friend group. I am grateful for memories I have of our times spent at the Kewer home!
Our hearts ache for the many family and friends left behind. I know they are facing all the questions of grief. I wish I could take their pain away!
Physically it is impossible for me to do that, but we can shoulder some of the burden.
Join me in praying for this family. Today, as it is the funeral. They will also need prayer in the days ahead!
