Hey Friends,
Happy Monday, I hope you have a wonderful week. In the United States of America, this is a special day. This day is known as Memorial Day.
Oftentimes, family and friends gather for a cookout and fun. All of that is wonderful. I cherish my family time.
We also set aside time to remember our loved ones who have passed away. They are deeply missed! We visited their graves and decorate them.
The cemeteries always prep for Memorial Day. They have everything looking nice. This year we have had nonstop rain, so the mud is bad everywhere.
The main reason we "celebrate" Memorial Day is to honor our soldiers that gave their lives for our country. They are all heroes, and need not be forgotten! The freedoms we enjoy are because of there selfless sacrifice!! "Many gave some, but some gave all!"
I pray God's blessings and comfort on any family members left hurting today! We appreciate your sacrifices as well!
On this day, I pause to say, thank you to our heroes! My thanks is heartfelt because of the brave men and women we get to live in America! So as we enjoy family time today, my heart is honoring and remembering why we have a Memorial Day.
