This is Odie popping in for a quick post. I am here to say Happy 80th Birthday!
Papaw turns 80 tomorrow. We will celebrate his birthday on Monday with several of the family. We are looking forward to a grand celebration of Papaw's 80 years of life!
He is a walking miracle. We are grateful that God has allowed us to keep him with us for 80 years! Right now, Papaw is the oldest living male Boggs!
In 1999 the doctors predicted Papaw had just 3 to 4 years left to live. God had a different plan for him. 23 years later, he is still standing! Heart and older age issues may have taken the majority of his strength, but we are so thankful! He has been able to cheer us on thru so many of life's milestones!
What would we do without him? Thank God we have not yet had to cross that bridge! As a family, we say, we love you, Papaw! You are an incredible man! We count it a privilege and an honor to call you Dad and Papaw! May your 80th birthday be as amazing and special as you are to us! Happy Birthday!
