Vintage View Vednesday - Gettysburg National Park 2009

The tent is up in Amber, Oklahoma and we are already knee deep into revival. There is so much excitement about revival and I am anticipating a great move of the Lord!

Vintage View Vednesday
We are going back again to 2009 for one of our best spontaneous side trips ever. We had arrived in Elkton, Virginia area to begin revivals and we were there a day or two early. We looked at the map, loaded a few things in Mr. Cheap Jeep and peddled as fast as we could 150 miles north to Gettysburg National Park.

Sometimes those unplanned outings are the best and this was absolutely incredible. We loved Gettysburg. We spent quite a bit of time in the museum and then took a guided bus tour. The guide we had was a military guy and was great. He knew his stuff could hold the attention of the whole crowd.

I would love to go back sometime. Here is our Vintage View Vednesday from Gettysburg National Park, July 2009. I hope you enjoy.

The next four pictures are from the Gettysburg Cyclorama. I recommend following the link and reading about it.

    1. Awesome! They completely rebuilt the visitors Center in 2008 and reopened the Cyclorama then too. We should meet you all there sometime down the road. 😅
