First Night of Revival

We were able to have church last night at Junction Hill so revival is officially started. Bro. Galiher let everyone know we would be having church and told everyone to use their best judgment on whether or not to brave the cold weather. Although some understandably chose to stay in we did have a very good crowd. It was a long cold walk (roll for Odie) across the parking lot but we decided to go. I am so glad we did.

The Junction Hill folks are fine people and we always enjoy having revival here. They respond good even to not so good preaching and that is always a plus for me. We are anticipating some more good services this week.

In the mean time we have been eating good at Sis. Galiher's table. She is an excellent cook and we always anticipate her next creation in the kitchen. She had a new dessert for us to try the other day and I posted a couple of pictures that generated some interest and questions.

What is it? It is an apple pie in an iron skillet. It was Sis. Galiher's first time preparing it and I am here to testify with my right hand raised up high in the air that it was fantabulous! We are definitely eating our way through another revival in the brand new year!

Here are a few more pictures from our day here at Junction Hill Pentecostal Church in West Plains, Missouri. I am quite sure we will try to have more news and pictures from here before the week is over.

I hope you all are doing well.

Bro. Ray Riggs posted pictures of some cookies he had made recently from his Grandmother's recipe and he graciously saved a few for us. Wow! Thanks, Bro. Ray

The temps are on their way up but first we had to have one more dip into the negative.
