Revival In Pictures - Wichita, Kansas

We have had a wonderful week of revival at Bethany Revival Center in Wichita, Kansas. We have a pile of pictures for you today. I hope you have time to go through them because they are great pictures of this week of revival.

We have been preaching revival for Pastor John DiZazzo and his great folks each year since August 2003. We look forward to being here. This week has been awesome and we have enjoyed every night of revival.

Thursday was a combined service with a Hispanic congregation and it was tremendous. This church has been using the Bethany sanctuary while waiting for repairs on their church and they joined right in and had church with us.

Pastor Jeremy Brooks from Oklahoma City came up with his family and interpreted for the whole service. He did both Spanish to English and English to Spanish. He is an amazing interpreter and he did a fabulous job. It was great to see them and spend a little time with them.

I hope you enjoy the Revival In Pictures. Thank you for dropping by.

Got 'Em-School Supplies For GoodNews Christian School

Each time we travel to Africa we try to take a suitcase full of school supplies for GoodNews Christian School in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Traveling to Nigeria we are allowed two 50 lb suitcases each and we dedicate of of the four to school supplies.

We have been doing our best to support the school since before it began and this is a fun part of it.

Here it is, ready to go.

We gave readers a chance to contribute to the school supplies and we appreciate the overwhelming response. We spent about $600 on supplies and we have a few hundred more to give the school to purchase more supplies themselves. We have more money to cover our yearly commitments to the school as well.

KJo and Odie spent several days running to and fro gathering the things we needed and ordered quite a bit from Amazon. I think they were relieved to get everything together.

We will have pictures of our visit to the school when we get to Nigeria. That is always one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for stopping by.

A Word For Wednesday, NoThing Too Hard For God!

So glad you joined us today. It is time again for A Word For Wednesday. A few moments ago I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please give it a listen and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

Will you do me a favor? Please share this A Word For Wednesday with your friends and family. It would help us and the channel a bunch if you would and might help a friend or family member too.😍

This is the first verse of a prayer of Jerimiah, Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Jerimiah 32:17

The proclamation is There is nothing too hard for thee. There is nothing too hard of God! Bro. Bill Houston used to say, There is No Thing to hard for God.

I know that everyone has a "thing" they need God to move in. Listen to me friend, there is NO Thing too hard for God. God can work a miracle in your thing no matter what it is!

Thank you for joining us today.

Searching For Water In Nigeria

Pastor Stephen Kuye was one of the first men we met on our first visit to Nigeria in 2007. He was with Bro. Shobanke when he came to pick us up at the airport in Lagos.

2009

Pastor Kuye was one of Bro. Shobanke's first converts many, many years ago and he has pastored in the city of Ibadan for decades. We preached a Gospel Crusade for him in 2009 and we have preached in the church several times through the years.

His church is Landmark Christ Mission and is smack dab in the middle of a Muslim neighborhood. He told me several years ago that about 80% of his church are converted Muslims.

2018

We were able to help them with the roof on their new church in 2009 and with other items in later years. It has been a joy to work with Pastor Stephen Kuye and his people through the years and we count him as a dear friend.

We received an email from him yesterday detailing the water situation at the church. This is part of it below.

In the community where we are, there is no drinking water. We always struggle to get water, in particular when the church is preparing for annual camp conference and some other special church program and the struggling is too much. We are praying to get bore-hole water. This bore-hole will cost us $2,000 US dollars.

We decided immediately to take care of this expense for them even if we have to dip into our general operating fund for part of it. It is a small price for us to pay to help them have water. I do not know if the water would be drinkable by our standards, much of the city water in Nigeria is not.

That is among the questions I have asked, but either way, they need water and we can help them do it. I believe the Lord places resources in our hands for things like this because He knows we will pass it along.

The excitement in our hearts is building as our Nigeria trip gets nearer. We can hardly wait. Bro. Shobanke emailed the flyers for the Conference and the Crusade and seeing the flyers amped up the eagerness to go even more.

Thank you for stopping in today.
