Praising God For Healing and Health!

Today is a story of sickness, pain, love, grace and healing. I posted this picture in yesterday's post.

Many of you may not recognized the young lady with Kelly Jo. Her name is Kari Noe. Long time readers have prayed a whole lot for her and her precious family the last four years.

I first requested prayer on the blog for beautiful little Kari Noe and her family in July of 2011 right after she was diagnosed with Leukemia. That diagnosis turned her little world and the world of her family Bro. Matthew, Sis. Ashlee and little brother Malachi up side down to say the least. It was devastating to hear that a child so full of life was staring death in the face.

The next two plus years seemed like an almost endless cycle of doctors, hospitals, clinics, treatments, hair loss, fevers, hopefulness, strength, expectation, optimism then relapse and repeat it all again. It was a nightmare for the whole family and they could not shake themselves awake.

In the middle of all this Kari prayed a special prayer one night in their bedtime devotions. This was about 7-8 months into the fight.
Lord we thank you for this day and all you've done for us. But tomorrow is a new day that I have never been in before Lord and I ask that u would help me and help me to keep fighting this old cancer dragon. Help ... all of our other cancer friends. And help all of our regular friends and family Lord. Lord we ask you to help our blessings and our requests in Jesus name, Amen.
Wow! What a prayer. I believe God heard that one.

This dear family fought for their lives physically, emotionally and spiritually over the next few years. Their extended family, church folks and friends all over the country banded together with them in prayer for help and healing. It was a long hard fight but God heard and answered prayer. Today Kari is well and going 100 miles per hour. Praise God!

Kari and her brother Malachi are great friends of ours along with their parents Bro. Matthew and Sis. Ashlee. We are thrilled to get to be with them this week in Elkton. They moved to Virginia last year and Bible Holiness is their home church. We are so thankful for each of them and what God has done in their lives.

Here are a bunch of pictures that we have of Kari, Malachi and their parents from 2011-2014 and then a few from this week. These few pictures really tell a story of sickness, healing and grace. Praise God with us for bringing the whole Noe family through this terrible ordeal. He is a great and mighty God!

Thanks for reading.

A Weekend Woundup and Weview May 4th

Our weekend started Thursday night for us and it sure seems like we jammed a bunch of stuff into three days. The first picture is the BoggsMobile at Trinity in Central City, Kentucky.

Right before church I cranked it up and moved it into position to leave easily after service. I also hooked up the Green Machine so we would be ready to roll. Pastor Alan Harris took this picture before church.

We pulled out of the church about 9:45 Thursday night and made a nice smooth trip to East Tennessee Luxury Coach in Vonore, Tennessee. We pulled in right at 3:00 AM which was then 4:00 AM in Vonore. It was 312 miles from Central City, Kentucky to Vonore, Tennessee. The weather was nice, the traffic was light and the BoggsMobile was ready to run.

I slept a few hours on the couch and then I moseyed outside to see when Mr. Jeff Rowe wanted me to pull into his shop. His tire guys were there so I had them replace a valve core in the valve stem of one of my tires. It would sometimes leak when I removed the tire pressure monitors. The old core was corroded on the end but everything seems fine now.

Next I pulled into the shop for a couple of other items.

They replaced the chains on the tag and adjusted the length of them until they are now just right.

Then they replaced the coils on the leveling system.

I pulled out of the shop about 5:00 PM and hooked up the car and prepared to roll.

I knew that Knoxville traffic would be a mess at rush hour on Friday so we stopped at a Ryan's up the road and ate while every one around Knoxville made a mad dash for home. I was pretty tired from our overnight drive and the day in the shop so I intended to only drive a little pass Knoxville. Once we sailed through town I was feeling so good that we kept right on driving until a few minutes after 10:00 PM.

We stopped for the night at the Flying J in Wytheville, Virginia after 222 miles.

Since we only had about 180 miles to go we were in no hurry to finish the drive Saturday. I let the girls rest a while in the morning and then we left about 11:00 AM. Here we are at a rest area on I-81 near the turn off to Elkton.

We arrived in beautiful Elkton, Virginia at Bible Holiness Church a little after 2:00. This is a gorgeous place and the church sits on a hill with a great view of the beauty. We love these mountains!

Sunday morning was bright and sunny.

We started revival Sunday morning with Pastor Brent Gabbard and all the folks at Bible Holiness Church.

Then it was time for the Homecoming meal and what a meal it was!

Sunday Homecoming service at 2:00 was excellent.

We are thrilled to be in Elkton, Virginia for Homecoming revival and we are expecting God to help us all. We have already had a great weekend and we can not wait to see what the week will bring.

God bless you all.

View Out The Front Window May 3, 2015

Check out our posts from this last week at the links below.

When we stopped in Vonore, Tennessee Friday it was 4:00 AM and I forgot to snap a picture out the window. I did get a picture of the BoggsMobile while it was in the shop later that morning.

We spent Friday night at Flying J on I-81, Exit 77 near Wytheville, Virginia. Here is the view out the front window there.

We are now in Elkton, Virginia at Bible Holiness Church. This is the view out the front window.

This is the view out the front door.

Today is Homecoming at Bible Holiness Church in Elkton, Virginia. Services are at 10:00 and 2:00 with Homecoming dinner in between. We are very glad to be here singing and preaching for Pastor Brent Gabbard and all of the fine folks at Bible Holiness. We are expecting the Lord to meet with us in a mighty way today and all of this week.

I hope you all have a great Sunday.
