Happy Birthday, Papaw! We love you!
Eighty-two years ago today, in Kentucky, a baby boy was born. Martin and Edna Boggs were blessed with another addition to their family. They named him Carl Eugene.
He grew up to become a wonderful man! He served his country in the Navy. Married his beautiful sweetheart, in June 1963, Martha Emma Isaacs Boggs.
Eugene has been a devoted family man. He provided well for his family. Soon he and Martha will be married for 62 years.
Now their family includes four grown children, in-laws, seven grandchildren and several grand in-laws that adore their Papaw, almost 7 great grandchildren that love Papa Great dearly!
Every member of the Boggs, family knows that we are incredibly blessed with the best! God has allowed us to have a Godly Dad, Papaw and Papa Great! He is our family rock! We love and appreciate him so much!
Thank you, God for my Papaw! Please bless, and strengthen him on his birthday and always!
We celebrated his birthday on Memorial Day. My cousin Deidre used my phone to take a few pictures and this video clip. Several family members and a few friends were still on hand as we sang happy birthday to him.
