The Weekend Dispatch 10/2/23

We have enjoyed a full and wonderful weekend and we have lots of pictures to show for it. You may get picture overload before we are finished.

Friday was the last night of revival at Tanner Williams and it was a great conclusion to the services this week. We had more great fellowship and fun and we loved it.

Saturday I did some maintenance one the tent trailer and bus, but I have no pictures to prove it. My hands were either greasy or wet.

Odie had company and ice cream and then we went to eat with Pastor Williamson and his family. We nearly laughed our heads off and enjoyed a great meal.

Sunday was Homecoming at Tanner Williams. There was a great crowd in attendance, the service was outstanding and the meal was delicious.

I have lost track of how many Homecomings and Friends and Family Days we have been a part of at Tanner Williams, but we always love it. Bro. Donnie, Sis. Gayla and these folks have been genuine friends to us and we value their friendship.

I often say that we have been blessed in the friendship department more than we could ever deserve. There is no doubt about that fact. These people are living proof of that.

We rested a few minutes after Homecoming dinner and then we drove about ten miles to Allentown Holiness Church to preach for Pastor Eugene Futral. Bro. Futral had invited us to come and I am happy it worked to where we could. The service Sunday night was wonderful and we were thankful for the Lord's help.

After church, we enjoyed a meal and fellowship with the Futrals. We had a great time.

That wraps up our weekend. Thank you for stopping by.

Davy
