October Milestones Anniversaries

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting in from Oklahoma. It is time for our brief visit to Oklahoma. We have two stops this time around.

I am excited to be here in Sand Springs last night and today with our precious friends at Bethany Holiness Church. It is great to be part of their fellowship meeting again this year.

Tomorrow morning we begin revival at Crosslight Chapel in Moore, Oklahoma. We always have a fabulous time with Pastor Lendell Birdsong and our friends at Crosslight. I look forward to seeing what God has planned for us this week! We will be in Moore thru Friday.

October
October is a superb month. Here are a few things that I love about this month. I am excited when fall is in full swing. It is Sauerkraut Festival time at home. We did not make it this year. Thankfully our friends thought of us while they enjoyed the festival. They sent us pictures. It is also pumpkin spice season and I love it!

Can you believe my birthday also rolls around every single October? How in the world am I now 37? I have decided to embrace, enjoy and cling to my 30s with all my might. Thank you for all of the nice birthday wishes.

I am blessed to be alive. God has allowed me to have a fantastic life. I am grateful for every day that He has given me. Each day is part of His great plan for me!

Thank you to all of my family and friends that make my life so incredible. I love all of you!

Anniversaries
October is also a wonderful month for a wedding. I wanted to wish a few special couples a Happy Anniversary today. They have milestones anniversaries This month.

Deidre and Ben Shoemaker reached the 5 year mark last week. Time has flown by. It really seems like their wedding was just last year. I will never forget that beautiful October day in 2017.

They have lived a lot of life in 5 years. God has now blessed their union with 2 beautiful children. I am thrilled for them. I am still cheering them on from the sidelines.

Happy anniversary, Deidre and Ben! May God bless you with many more milestones. I love you both! I had to pull out one of my favorite pictures from the archives for this post.

Yesterday was a special day for two of my favorite people. It was my Mom’s parents, Danny and Betty Morgan’s, anniversary.

Gran and Papaw have been married 55 years. Happy Anniversary! I love you both more than words can express. I am so thankful for your dedication to each other and your family! God bless and keep you is my prayer!

Here is a flashback 5 years to their 50th anniversary party in the summer of 2017.

One more special couple has a milestone anniversary next week. Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan will have been married 40 years on October 22nd.

Happy anniversary to our “Holy Roadies”. We love you all! Thank you for choosing to spend a few of your anniversaries and anniversaries trips with us! See you on down the road on the next adventure.

Marriage is a blessed gift from God. I know that it takes determination, dedication and help from God to make a marriage last. I am thankful that I am surrounded by people that show me that marriage is worth fighting for and every anniversary is special. The milestones years deserve an extra shoutout!

Thanks for visiting with me today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

    2. Deidre and Ben Shoemaker’s wedding day was one of the most blessed days in my life! It seemed that the spirit of God was around us at every moment. I felt his anointing walking through the doors of the church that day. I was privileged to be able to lay hands on the couple and bless them as dad. The reception was four hours along and I didn’t want it to end. There was an immediate realization of a great gift of His peace to us on the day of our daughter’s wedding. God has blessed me through much, with so much.
