The Weekend Dispatch 8/8/22

Our weekend began with the last night of revival for Pastor Kevin Allen at Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse in Middletown, Ohio. We enjoyed our week there and the last night was tremendous.

After church, we had plenty of help taking down and loading the sound equipment in the truck. We are very thankful for that.

Odie captured a few pictures from Friday night.

I pulled the truck into the barn when we arrived home Friday night and waited until late evening Saturday to unload it.

In fact, I did almost nothing all day long Saturday. I did not step outside until after 3:00 PM when we went to visit my parents for a while.

I did have enough energy to eat some of KJo's famous tacos!

We spent a few minutes in my study organizing a few things Saturday evening, but the day consisted of mostly rest and it was well appreciated!

Sunday morning we went to Dryden Rd, our home church, hoping to hear our Pastor preach. We did get to hear him teach Sunday School, but he had me preach Sunday morning.

We went home Sunday afternoon and rested so that we could be in some kind of shape to preach at Anchor of Hope Sunday evening in Lebanon, Ohio. Pastor EJ Lamb had asked me about preaching that evening about 10 days before and we were glad to go.

The service Sunday night at Anchor was excellent! Praise God for His help.

That wraps up our weekend. Thank you for stopping by.

Davy
