Welcome to another Saturday post. This is Odie reporting in. I am thrilled that you stopped by. It is a pleasure to visit with you for a few moments.
I hope you are doing well. We had a wonderful week in Ellisville, Missippi! The services were excellent and the fellowship with dear friends was fabulous!
Today the BoggsMobile will take us back to Alabama. We are looking forward to being at Tanner Williams Holiness Church tomorrow! I am excited to be with Pastor Donnie Williamson and our precious Tanner Williams friends again! I know it will be an exciting day!
You Are Valuable
I carry a $2 bill in my wallet. It is not there for a good luck charm. It was a gift from a friend. I recently saw my $2. I remembered the story behind that particular piece of money.
Bro. James Martin gave me the $2 several years ago. I can not quote his exact words that day, but his encouragement has stuck with me. He said something, to the effect of, keep this as a reminder that you are special, unique and valuable to God.
I want to draw your attention to a Bible verse that stood out to me recently. Sometimes it is good to be reminded that you and I are valuable to God! This nugget blessed me and I had to share it with you.
We are told that God sees every sparrow that falls on the ground and then he says these precious words, Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:31
Hallelujah! God has His eye on me!
I often find myself fretting about the questions of life. How is this going to work out? It is easy to get overwhelmed if I dwell on the questions too long.
This verse tells me not to be fearful! My life is important to God and He is concerned about me at this moment! Odie, God has everything under control! He truly does have a purpose and a plan!
Friend, I am not worth more to God than you. Every one of us is precious to Him. Just remember you are valuable to God today!
