The Pacific Ocean and Back

Courtney had never seen the ocean. With us so close to the Pacific Ocean we had to do something about that. Monday was originally built into this trip as a rest day but we decided we could rest on our way to Monterey, California.

We met Bro. Jared and Sis. Valerie Burris and their children near Monterey and watched some dolphins playing in the ocean. We watched them for quite a while. That was really neat to see.

We went to the wharf in Monterey, watched the sea lions, watched the people and ate some great food. The surf was beautiful, the sun was bright and the temperature was nice and cool.

It was super good day and we enjoyed it so much. There is nothing like good food, in a beautiful place with good friends.

We are flying tonight back to St. Louis and then driving back to the bus. I am ready to see the BoggsMobile and climb into my own bed.

Today (Sunday) was our last day of services in California this trip. It has been a whirlwind of activity since we left the BoggsMobile last Saturday morning. We drove to St. Louis, flew to Sacramento and hit the ground running. We have had 11 services in 8 days and every one was good.

We finished up today with Sunday morning at Souls Harbor in Fresno and Riverdale Assembly Sunday night. It was a great day with the Lord moving in each service. We sure enjoyed the day.

Pastor Anthony Munoz and his church have been close friends of ours for many years. It is always good to be in church with them. They came to revival several nights in Atwater and were a tremendous help and encouragement to revival. It was awesome to be with them this morning.

Sunday night we were preaching and singing at Riverdale Assembly in Riverdale, California. The response in the altar service was great. We love being with Pastor Charles Spencer, his family and church. We are thankful for their friendship and fellowship. May God bless all of these fine California folks for having us in their churches.

Monday we should rest some before we fly back to St. Louis Tuesday evening but we would like to take Courtney (KJ's) niece to see something in this beautiful state. We have no definite plans as of this moment but I am sure something will fall in place.
