Reminbering a Miracle Three Years Ago

This picture was taken Sunday night. This is Brayden and he is nearly 3 1/2 years old. When we were here in 2011 Brayden was a sick little boy.

During revival he was diagnosed with Pyloric Stenosis and was scheduled for surgery the next day. Brayden could not keep any food down at all. His Dad and Mom brought him to church that night and as the Lord was moving in the singing they brought him for prayer. Pastor Kenny Searcy and his church anointed him and prayed for him and the Lord touched Brayden that night.

Last night Sis. Monica testified that after the Lord's touch Brayden did not so much as even spit up his food as a normal baby would sometimes do. God healed that little baby and we give him all of the glory. Brayden is all boy and full of energy and spunk. Praise God for His help. It was so nice to see them again and receive an update on their miracle boy!

You can read the full original post HERE. I have also copied and pasted it below.

This is Seth and Monica Burdge with their youngest child, Brayden.

They attend Calvary Holiness in Midwest City where Bro. Kenny Searcy is the Pastor. Brayden has not been keeping any food down and has not been gaining weight.  On Wednesday the doctor diagnosed him with Pyloric Stenosis.  You can Google it.  It is not good.  The treatment is a surgery that usually takes care of the problem. The doctor was sure of his diagnosis so plans were set in motion for the surgery. They had an appointment Thursday morning for an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis with a surgeon standing by.

Wednesday night as the Holy Ghost was moving in the service, Bro. Seth brought little Brayden to the front to be anointed with oil and for the church to pray for his healing.  As the church prayed you could feel faith rising in the service to believe God for a miracle. We had a great move of God and we went home believing that God had heard the prayers of His people.

When the ultrasound was over Thursday morning and they had examined Brayden again, they told Seth and Monica that he did not have Pyloric Stenosis at all. They were sure he had it Wednesday and just as sure that he did not have it on Thursday. The only intervention was prayer to God who hears and answers the cries of his children.

Sis. Monica testified last night at church that Brayden had kept all his food down since he had been prayed for and had not even spit up one time. We were praising and blessing God for most of the service for obviously touching Brayden. Praise God for His miracle working power!

I give this testimony to give Praise and Glory to God and to build your faith.  Jesus said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23  Allow faith to rise up in your heart and believe God for a miracle in your situation.  God knows your need.  God cares about your need.  God is able to move in your need.

We are praising God for healing Brayden Burdge and believing that God will move in your needs as well.

Travel Day and M&M's

Saturday was another short travel day. It will be our last short travel day for a few weeks. We left Kellyville, Oklahoma before noon and about 90 miles and 2 hours later we were pulling into the Road Runner RV Park in Oklahoma City.

The whole drive was warm and sunny but extremely windy. The wind was gusting over 30 mph and the BoggsMobile was feeling it the whole way. I backed the speed down and held on with both hands.

We pulled into our favorite spot in the park and began to set up. Kelly Jo and I pulled out the sound equipment and loaded it up in the Green Machine. We had a gift card for Chili's so we stopped for breakfast/lunch/dinner on our way to set up the sound system.

We met Pastor Kenny Searcy and Sis. Karen at Calvary Holiness Church in Midwest City. It was great to see them again. We have known the Searcy's for 25 years and we always enjoy getting to see them. We set up our sound system while visiting with old friends and catching up.

We were home early enough to relax for a while and get to bed at a decent hour. Here are a couple of good pictures of the BoggsMobile after dark in the Road Runner RV Park.

We have been coming to Calvary Holiness Church in Midwest City for several years but we have known most the folks for many more years. We have watched one of the young ladies, Kaitlyn, grow up and I have been trying to win her as a friend for all of those years. She has always been shy so I started trying to bribe her with M&M's. We have been trading M&M's every revival and other times when we have been in the area.

Sunday we stopped at a convenient store and bought a small bag of M&M's so I would have some to give Kaitlyn. I handed them to her and then she reached down and picked up the biggest bag of M&M's I have ever seen. It is a 42 ounce bag of M&M's. She really got me!

I will have a hard time doing better than that!

We had two great services at Calvary Holiness Church Sunday and we are looking for more great services this week. We are planning to be here through Thursday night so I am sure we will try to post some pictures before it is over.

I hope you had a great Sunday.

Sapulpa Valentine's Day Banquet

Hello friends,

Odie here with a Valentine's Day Report. Last night we had the privilege of being a part of the Sapulpa area fellowship Valentine's Banquet. The banquet is an annual fundraiser for the Sapulpa Youth Camp. It was a fun night of food and fellowship. Dad did a great job speaking and it was a wonderful to see so many friends!!

Thank you to the Sapulpa board members for inviting us to be with you all. We had a great time. The banquet was held in the Kellyville Holiness Church Fellowship hall. It is a beautiful facility. Pastor John Brock  and his church made us feel very welcome.

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, or as I have said in the past National Single Awarness Day. It was a wonderful day for me. It even included some chocolate. Any day with chocolate is good day, especially for a dieter.

Have a great weekend. I will let pictures finish the post.
