Wednesday Singing At Sea 2026 In Pics

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to visit. Today it is time our recap of day 3 of this year’s Singing At Sea cruise.

Wednesday morning, we docked in Nassau, Bahamas. The weather was not conducive to a beautiful Bahamian day. The sky was full of clouds, and the wind was blowing.

We got off the ship to explore the newly renovated port area. Both Michelle and I had previously visited Nassau.

The place was packed with people on this day. Six large cruise ships were visiting on this particular day.

After about an hour on land, we chose to head back to the Carnival Freedom. We wanted to enjoy the ship's solitude.

We had lunch with friends and enjoyed our day. It may or may not have included a nap! Vacation naps are grand. 😀

Then it was time for our evening of music, food and fun. That wrapped up Wednesday.

I will close with my Wednesday pictures. I hope you enjoy. Click HERE and HERE to see my recaps of Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and Friday are coming.

See you next time.

Mississippi Hello

 Hey Friends,

We arrived in South Mississippi on Tuesday evening. Richton will be our home base for the next several days.

Pastor Scott Morris and First Assembly allow us to call this our Mississippi home. We are so grateful for their friendship and support. Thank y'all so much! We love visiting our precious friends who are truly family.

Mom wanted to flee some of the cold for a while. We also need to visit Friends and thank them for being so kind to us.

It is nearly impossible to see everyone when we want to visit. There are so many churches in a wide area that we want to attend a service or two. Almost all the churches have Sunday and Wednesday services. Hopefully, we can get to several on this trip.

We will also take in a few more states before this trip ends. So this is an exciting time for us. I will try to take you along for the ride.

Sunday At Full Gospel Mission

 Hey Friends,

We have been on the move. Sunday found us in Evansville, Indiana. It was great to be in both Sunday Services at Full Gospel Mission.

Pastor John, Sis. Debbie Eaton and the congregation welcomed us with open arms. It was great to be at church with our longtime friends and meet new friends, too.

The Lord blessed and helped in both services. We are thrilled to have been a tiny part of it.

Bro. John is my "Pops"—he and Sis. Debbie have been special to us for many years. God has blessed us with incredible friends!  Mom and I are so grateful for Bro. John and Sis. Debbie! We love them dearly!

When Dad incorporated Boggs Family Ministries, Bro. John joined our team. He is a wonderful asset to our ministry as a board member. He has helped us immensely to navigate the challenges of ministry without Dad at the helm.

He has been inviting us to come sing for them for a long time. I am so glad we could finally make it happen!

We had the added blessing of help from some extra-special people. Thanks to Bro. Morgan and Sis. Laura Stephens, thank you for coming to help us this weekend. We love your precious family.

Laura is Bro. John and Sis. Debbie's daughter. Morgan is Bro. Sean Stephen's son. Together they are awesome and have four sweet children. We have been close to them for a long time. In fact, we consider them part of our road family. Sadly, we do not get to be together as much as we would like to.

Morgan lent us his background vocals and played bass both Saturday and Sunday. He is very talented and a great help. It is always fun to jam with him!

I will close with my pics from Sunday. I hope you enjoy.

Faith Fellowship Mount Vernon IN Visit

 Hey Friends,

Mom and I spent Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday with our dear friends in Indiana. We had a fantastic weekend.

When we planned our visit to Evansville for Sunday, we found out it was homecoming weekend at Faith Fellowship. It was the perfect time for us to visit Pastor Brad and Sis. Tammy Nolan.

They have been our adopted family for decades now. We love "Uncle Brad, Aunt Tammy” and their family!  God has blessed their church! We are so thankful for the blessings and rejoice with them.

We were thrilled to be there for a night of their homecoming revival. An awesome bonus, Bro. J.R and Sis. Teresa Alexander were the special speakers. We also got to see several other friends.

God met us and ministered to us during the service. It was a fabulous night!

I will close with some pictures I took on Saturday. Thanks for reading. See you tomorrow.

Sunday Sanity 2/8/26

 Hey Friends,

Mom and I attended a ladies' breakfast at Dodds with our family yesterday. It was a great morning.

Aunt Theresa gave a heartfelt devotional. Public speaking was a step out of her comfort zone. I was so proud of her! She left us with some good food for thought! Her topic was God's instructions for life.

We had been asked to bring a dish towel and a recipe to exchange. Therefore, Aunt Theresa likened God's instructions for us to following a recipe. If we do not follow His plan, the recipe will not turn out properly.

During her devotion, she shared with us a quote that is today's Sunday Sanity. I do not know the original author.

"When we follow God's way, we may not see the outcome yet -but we can trust the one who wrote the instructions."

I thought this was a delicious nugget of truth. This a a recipe I need to follow more precisely.

May God bless you!

A Check In And Recap 2/7/26

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to visit with us today! I hope you are having a great weekend! We are doing well.

I appreciate everyone who has let me know they are enjoying my Singing At Sea posts.

I have recapped two days of the 2026 cruise. I plan to finish up the last three days next week. You can find the Monday and Tuesday recaps by clicking HERE  and HERE.

On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, we shared two new videos. You can find those on our YouTube channel by clicking HERE and HERE

We appreciate all the kind feedback on our videos and blog posts! Our gracious and faithful readers make our day! Welcome to any new readers who may be joining us. I hope you find something you enjoy, and you come back to visit us often!

Thursday morning this week, I woke with an upset tummy. Thankfully, the sickness did not last all day. I felt yucky and weak all day. I did not get hardly anything accomplished. I am thankful for all the prayers of my family and friends. I thank God for helping me feel much better by Thursday night!

Friday was full of activity. We had several errands to run. I had an appointment at the eye doctor. I mentioned HEREseveral days ago, that my eye doctor was concerned about some of my test results. She wants me to visit another specialist.

While I was on vacation, I got a call asking me to come back in to repeat the visual field test. Honestly, I was grateful to get that phone call.

I was not pleased with how the test turned out last time. I believed that it was administered incorrectly. I was able to go in yesterday and repeat the test. This time, I think it went much more smoothly. I do not have the results. I did not see the doctor yesterday. We are hoping and believing for much better results this time around.

I have had several people reach out to let me know they are praying with me about this issue. I know God is in control of all things. I am trying to rest in His sustaining grace. I will keep praying and believing for victory.

Please keep us in your prayers. We have some travel ahead of us. We are anxious to see many of our friends. Stay tuned to see where our travels take us!
