Tuesday Singing At Sea 2026 In Pics

 Hey Friends,

I hope you are ready for day 2 of this year’s Singing At Sea pics. Tuesday was a port day. It was also Captain’s night aboard the ship.

We left Port Canaveral, Florida, on Monday afternoon. Then we sailed most of the night. Tuesday morning, we arrived at Carnival Cruise Line’s private destination, Celebration Key.

Michelle and I got off the ship for just about an hour. We explored Celebration Key. When the sun was shining, and the wind died down, it was beautiful! Most of the time it was windy, and we needed our jackets. We still had a great time on land.

After a while, we decided to head back to the ship for lunch. We wanted to spend some time exploring the ship and doing some things that afternoon.

Soon, it was time for us to get ready for the Captain’s night festivities. That is the evening when you dress more formally than on the other nights. I think it's fun to dress extra nice.

We had to get ready early. Some of our favorite artists were singing as soon as the concert started back up, and we did not want to miss it!

Right before our dinner time, we went to the Captain's reception. I think it's always neat to see the captain and all the first officers on board. Then it was time for our extra special dinner in the dining room.

Now, I hope you enjoy my pictures from Tuesday! There are a few of Michelle’s mixed in, and also a couple from Bro. Ron Conner. Thanks for sailing virtually with us.

Monday Singing At Sea 2026 In Pics

 Hey Friends,

Last week, I was on a vacation I love. This has become an annual thing for me. I first started sailing on the Singing At Sea in 2012.

In the year since then, I sailed this cruise several different years. 2026 was my third consecutive year. Once again this year, our home at sea was the Carnival Freedom.

Templeton Tour INC does a phenomenal job putting together a great week at sea. I can never thank Jeff Templeton and the crew at TTI enough for working so hard! They truly do charter a phenomenal cruise! We had 5 nights full of fun, food, music and fellowship.

We set sail from Port Canaveral on Monday afternoon. It was a windy but mostly sunny day, a fantastic way to start our week at sea.

Here are my pics from Monday, January 26th. You will see in the pictures lots of scenery, food, singing, and sightings of friends and family. I had so much fun!

11th Hour was our host group for the cruise. It was great to be with Garrett and Amber Saunders once again. They are precious people! This year, they were also joined on stage by the fabulous Autumn Nelon Streetman.

Victoria Bowlin still sings with 11th Hour. She was unable to cruise this year, due to a new addition in their family. We missed you, Victoria!

Below is the 2026 11th Hour cruise group photo.

That wraps up the first day of this year's cruise! Stay tuned for more! Thanks for reading.

Power to Restore By Kelly Jo and Odie

Hey Friends,

Mom has had one of our old songs on her mind this week. We pulled it out of the memory vault. We enjoyed reworking Power To Restore for a video.

This song was written by Rick Combs and Davy, Kelly and Odie Boggs.

Dad sang this one originally. We recorded it in 2003. I have always loved the true message in these lyrics.

Below is the description Mom posted with this video. Also here is an amazing scripture. This verse can give us all hope today.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“To the fallen and the broken... the message is....THERE IS POWER TO RESTORE your broken life!

To every addict who has tried and failed, try again with God!
The moment you decide not to try again you are resigned to failure.
The moment you choose to try you are aligned for success! So try again!! Don't quit!

To those who are blinded by sin, there is a healing stream of blood that flows from Calvary. It has Power to heal and restore you!”

KJo Survivived Fern At The Ohio Beach Cottage

Hey Friends,

Last week, while I was on vacation, I saw several people that we know! I was asked a few different questions on multiple occasions.

1. Is your Mom with you?
2. What is she doing this week?
3. Is she bored without you at home?
I would show them this video in response to their questions.

My Mother’s shenanigans crack me up! She wasn't bored stiff at all! She stayed busy the whole time. After this video she may have been frozen stiff. She thawed out and worked hard at home while I was gone.

No! My mother has not lost her mind! While I was on vacation, in Florida, I was eager to send warm sunny pictures of the beautiful 75° weather to my mom, Kelly Jo.

This video was her response to my somewhat gloating pictures while she stayed behind and rode out "Winter Storm Fern". I thought it was hilarious and wanted to share.

I guess she was finding joy in the midst of a storm. 😂😂😂

I find it amusing, my beautiful weather was short lived. It turned very chilly on me and my jacket was necessary with the illusive sunshine.

Let me know if you enjoy this!

Odie Is Home

 Hey Friends,

My friend Michelle Bostwick and I had a fantastic vacation. It was much cooler than planned, but extremely better than the negative temperatures back home. We were thrilled to get a break from the winter nastiness.

I will share 2026 Singing At Sea pics in the coming days. I have not had the chance to go through them all and edit them for the blog yet.

Saturday was a hurry-up-and-wait travel day for us. Thankfully our flight was not canceled or changed due to weather. Many of our cruising friends experienced cancellations or driving route change due to winter weather.

Here's an Orlando and Waynesville, Ohio weather comparison from Saturday morning.

Now here are a few flight pics from that night.

We were thrilled to close to home once our plane touched down at CVG airport Saturday night.

It was Sunday when we actually arrived home. I was so glad to crawl into my bed and hibernate. Our travel day started and ended in the early mornings. Thankfully our God it was smooth. Our luggage and us got to our final destination.

Thanks for checking in! I will see you all tomorrow!

Sunday Sanity 2/1/26

 Hey Friends,

Happy February! Time is zooming by. I hope you are warm and well. We are not expecting more snow in Ohio this weekend. I know some people got snow, but we have frigid temps.

Here is a nugget of truth for today. This statement spoke to me recently. I have pondered it for days.

God’s will is not just a destination, it is a journey

I desire to be in the perfect will of God always. It is definitely possible to be in His will for our lives! It is a journey I will keep traveling.

Thank you for reading.

Odie’s Flying To Vacation Pics 2026

 Hey Friends,

I am supposed to be getting off the Carnival Freedom this morning. I will have Singing At Sea reports later. I will have to go through pictures, edit and compile some posts.

Later tonight, Michelle and I are supposed to fly home. Please pray for safe and smooth travels.

Last Friday, Mom and Papaw Eugene took us to the airport. I am so glad we chose to leave earlier than planned! Our travel day was smooth from beginning to end.

It was a fabulous day. The check-in and security process was quick. Soon, we were at our gate waiting for go time. We did not experience delays or gate changes. Everything went according to plan.

Our flight was straight to Orlando. The flight was smooth almost all the way. Soon we were in Orlando. I thank God for a great day.

I will close with pictures from our travel day on January 23rd. See you later.

DRPC Kids Choir Sing Famous For

 Hey Friends,

I hope you enjoy this video of the DRPS Kids Choir. I captured this from my front row seat.

Sis. Emily Roberts does a fantastic job leading the kids. They love to sing, and do so with all their hearts!

It is precious to see them learning to worship! God rewards their worship with a special visitation of His Holy Spirit during the choir’s singing.

I love this song! I just had to share the video with my friends.  I hope you have a great day.

See you tomorrow.
