Isaacs and Jason Crabb 11/15 Waverly Ohio

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for stopping by today. Please keep praying for the requests I wrote about HERE  yesterday.

Our Aunt Carol Montgomery really needs prayer today. The doctors decided yesterday that she was not a candidate for open-heart surgery. Today, they are supposed to be doing surgery to try to put a stent in.  It is a risky surgery. We are praying for good results.

Here is a PSA reminder for my local Ohio readers. Tonight is the Isaacs Christmas concert in Centerville, OH. Doors open at 6, and the concert is at 7. Tickets are still available HERE.

I am doing a bit of a Flashback Friday today. The second Saturday of November, Mom and I traveled to Waverly, Ohio.

Jason Crabb and The Isaacs were both singing at a concert that night. We had a fabulous day and night. We got to see some friends along the way.

I never got the pictures from that concert up on the blog. So I am remedying that now.

The buses

The Isaacs are now sponsored by Icee. This was our first time seeing the bus officially wrapped. It is so cool!

I love my Ben!

Meet and greet time.

Jason Crabb's sound guy came and introduced himself. This is David Mann of The Mann Clan. His family has also evangelized in a bus. We have known of them for years. Visiting a lot of the same churches and sharing friends, but never officially met them.

His Dad, also named David, was driving Jason's bus that weekend. We were able to meet him too. It was neat to officially meet up with them.

Dad had discussed bus stuff on the phone with Bro. Mann, but they never got to meet in person.

My friend Andi was there to see the Isaacs too. We bond over our mutual love for the Isaacs.

Jason Crabb time.

Jason's daughter Ashley and her husband were with him. They are both very talented.

The Isaacs time.

Jason Crabb and The Isaacs both on stage to end the night.

That wraps up a fabulous night in Waverly, Ohio. Stay tuned for more Isaacs pics tomorrow.

Prayers Requested For Family Members

 Hey Friends,

It seems everywhere you turn, there is someone in desperate need of prayer! Everyone needs God to move on their behalf. Praise God, He is everywhere, and He has all the power to move! I am grateful our God is alive! He is listening to our prayers.

Here are just a few of the requests on my heart. Our church at DRPC lost 2 long-term members this week. We are always saddened when another saint goes home. Please pray for the Minton and Witt families. Bro. Ivan Minton’s funeral is this morning. Saturday morning will be the funeral for Sis. Connie Witt.

Our sweet baby boy, Beckham Porter Boggs, still needs all the prayers he can get. I think they made progress toward diagnosing his main issue. The doctor approved surgery to correct the problem.

Sadly, Beckham has a cold right now and is struggling. He can not have surgery until the cold is better. Last I heard, they are hoping to do surgery next week.

Please keep his parents, Jonas and Kylee, and the grandparents in your prayers. They are all tired of the roller coaster ride of emotions and sickness. We all want Beckham well!

I found out yesterday that our cousin Paul Smith is having heart issues. Sounds like he's probably facing surgery. I know Paul and his family would appreciate prayer.

Here is an older picture of Dad and Paul.

My Gran, Betty Morgan, has a sister in the hospital. Aunt Carol is suffering badly. Last I heard they were trying to transfer her to a different hospital. Looks like she will be having open heart surgery quickly to correct a blockage. Please pray for Aunt Carol and all of the family!

This is Me with Aunt Carol a few years ago.

There are so many more needs coming to mind. Please pray for my request and I will pray for yours!

See you tomorrow.

Winter Weather Is Here

 Hey Friends,

We are still several days away from the official start date of winter on the calendar. Our first snow came last month, but it did not last long. We had a slight dusting of snow Saturday night, and it didn't even last long enough for pictures.

Here is the winter wonderland that came overnight, Monday into Tuesday. It was splitting snow when we were laid down Monday night. As the night progressed, I watched more snow come on my security cameras. By Tuesday morning, Mom and I guessed that we had somewhere between 4 and 5 inches of snow.

It was beautiful! The bad cold is here to stay for a while. Yesterday, I stayed snugly in the warm house. I had my heated throw close by for added warmth.

I used the day for more recuperating. Mom made us some delicious chili for lunch and supper. It was a good snow day for me!

My photos was the closest we came to, my favorite, sunny beach weather yesterday. This cool tray on my Ottoman did make me smile.

My Uncle Steve and Aunt Karen brought this to me recently. I absolutely love it! Thank you Steve and Karen for the “sick gift”! You helped me feel better.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit! I will see you all tomorrow.

Christmas Wreath 2025

 Hey Friends,

First off, I want to wish my cousin Wade Ross Evans a happy birthday! 21 years ago, my world got a little sweeter with your arrival. You still are a sweetheart and make me smile! You will always be my cheetah! 😊

I hope you have a fantastic 21st birthday. We love you so much!

Christmas Wreath 2025

Last night was an event I have been part of for several years now. I really enjoy it each Christmas. It is a private event at Purkey Landscaping’s Plant Barn.

We make Christmas wreaths. It is so fun to create something beautiful. Kristy, Tammy and Madison make sure we have all the supplies and inspiration. Then we are free to create the wreath that we choose. They are there to guide and assist us along the way.

This years party attendees were my Aunt Theresa Osborn with ladies from Dodds Church along with family and friends. It was a great evening. We had so much fun!

I think 2025 may be my favorite wreath so far. This year I went for more of a winter feel. I am hoping it will last a while past Christmas.

Thanks to Purkey Landscaping for hosting fun events! Check them out online HERE.

I will close with some pictures from last night.

See you tomorrow!

Also I included a picture of my bedroom Christmas tree. I love my travel tree. I did not have it done last month when I shared my Christmas decorations.

Online Shopping

 Hey Friends,

Happy December 1st! If you missed Friday and Saturday posts, check out our 2025 MORGAN and BOGGS Thanksgivings. It is my favorite time of year. I love the holiday festivities.

Mom is in Christmas Canta prep mode. She has practice with our band tonight. Keep me in your prayers. I am easing back into practicing my singing with Mom since my surgery.

Tomorrow is two weeks since my surgery. I feel like I have progressed a lot in the healing department. Still taking it easy in many areas. I do not want a backset. I can do more things on my own, and I am not requiring as much pain medication now. Thank you, Jesus, for your help!

Online Shopping

I was able to do a lot of our Christmas shopping online pre-surgery. I took advantage of the sales last week for some more shopping. I love shopping in stores, but this year I am so thankful for Online shopping!

While doing your Cyber Monday shopping, check out our music store HERE. We still have time to ship our brand new project to you before Christmas.

Dad always said “CDs make great stocking stuffers, if you have square feet.” I had to quote him, I have heard him in my head for weeks now. 😍😂

Well, thank you for stopping by to visit. See you tomorrow.

Sunday Sanity 11/30/25

 Hey Friends,

Happy Sunday. I hope you are staying warm on this cold, snowy day.

Here is a nugget of sanity for your Sunday. We heard this said earlier this month in Mississippi. I knew it would show up here at some point.

You will never kill tomorrow’s giant until you conquer yesterday’s lion.”

See you tomorrow.
