Revival In Pictures-Tulsa, Oklahoma

We have had a wonderful week of revival at the House of Prayer in Tusla, Oklahoma. It has always been a pleasure to preach for Pastor Bill Parks and his family and the church. We love being here this year and we are praising God for His help.

All through the week, Odie has been snapping great pictures of our friends at House of Prayer and today is the day to post them. I hope you enjoy the Revival In Pictures.

Thank you for stopping by.

A Schedule Change

We have four more revivals on the schedule before we go to Nigeria later in the year, but we have made a change this week. We were supposed to be in Birch Tree, Missouri at Victory Holiness Church with Pastor Ronald Coots November 12-16, Sunday-Thursday.

That date has been postponed and will be rescheduled next year, hopefully in the summer. Bro. and Sis. Coots' daughter-in-law is going through a major health crisis and they need to devote their full attention to that situation. We agree completely.

We are still scheduled to be at Junction Hill Pentecostal Church near West Plains, Missouri Friday-Monday, November 17-20 so we will be somewhere between there and Wichita, Kansas Sunday the 12th and the days following. I will let you know when the situation becomes more clear.

Thank you for checking in with us. Have a great day.

A Word For Wednesday, Mabel-God's Perfect Timing

So glad you joined us today. It is time again for A Word For Wednesday. A few moments ago I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please give it a listen and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

My Pastor friend walked into Mabel's hospital room and told her about Jesus when Mabel was about to die. She could not even respond, but heard and understood the Gospel. She was saved at the last moment and is testimony of God's Perfect Timing.

Thank you for joining us today. May God bless you.

Update On Upcoming Nigeria Trip

We are gearing up for our trip to Nigeria soon and we are excited about it. Kelly Jo and Odie have been buying school supplies and hope to wrap all of that up this week. The supplies are fully funded and we are going to have extra funding to give to the school and we are very thankful for that.

Thank you to those of you who had a burden to help the school and contribute to other needs of our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. May God bless you for your kindness and generosity.

Your graciousness and goodwill will not be forgotten.
-For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10

Bro. Shobanke has a Minister's Conference scheduled for us the first few days of our trip and an outdoor Gospel Crusade the next week. We will also be preaching a combined service at the main Christ Ambassadors Holiness Church on the first Sunday and at another church in Abeokuta on the second Sunday.

Our place to stay has been reserved and they are waiting for us to arrive. Kelly Jo and I are excited to see our dear friends again in Nigeria and we are expecting the Lord to guide us and help us each step of the way.

Thank you for praying for us concerning this short trip to Nigeria. There is no telling what the Lord will do for His people.

Thank you for stopping by today.

The Weekend Dispatch 10/23/23

Our weekend was off to a great start by lunchtime Friday! That is a good sign that we are going to have a wonderful weekend!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and terrific fellowship with Pastor Leon Rich and Sis. Shawna Rich! I say this over and over because it is positively true. When it comes to friends, we have been abundantly blessed.

We had even more friends show up for the last night of revival at Redemption Holiness Church Friday. It was awesome.

We loved the whole week, but Friday night was the finale and we were sad to pack up to go. Thank you, friends, for having us and loving us.

There was no need to rush Saturday morning and that was a good thing since Friday night was a late one. The next revival was only 10 miles on the shortest course. We took the faster track in the bus and it was about 18 miles. We had some traffic backup because of a crash, but overall it was not bad.

We had a gift card to a Mexican restaurant that was given to us a while back. Saturday was a good day to try it out.

Saturday evening was Men's fellowship at the House of Prayer with Bro. Ronnie Baker giving a timely devotion. I failed to get a picture of the men but I did get a couple pictures of the food.

After the fellowship we carried in our equipment and set up. Some of the men helped us with that and Bro. Perry Burkholder connected us to their sound system.

Revival got off to a wonderful start Sunday with both services being well attended and the Lord helping us. We love Pastor Bill Parks, Sis. Melanie and these fine people and we are thrilled to be here this week.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Odie's Birthday Recap and Bethany Notes

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting from Oklahoma. We just finished the second stop on our four meetings in the Tulsa area. It has been wonderful to be in this area again! We have so many incredible friends here! It is always a blessing to be in service and visit with every one of them!

Birthday Recap
Thank you to everyone who made me feel extremely loved last week on my birthday! I sincerely appreciate your love and friendship! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the comments, cards, texts, calls, emails and gifts!

I spent my birthday with my extraordinary friends, The Cummins Family. Several years ago, they adopted me as their family. They ensured I was spoiled way more than I could ever deserve! I love you all more than words can express, Cummins Family!

Thank you for making my birthday extra GREAT!

I also had some special visitors I wanted to mention. My Uncle Steve and Aunt Karen came to see us. It was wonderful to have them with us for two services! I had been missing them terribly. My heart and face smiled when they were with us. We will see them again soon!

One of my birthday buddies is Sis Jessa Bond Detherage. We first discovered we shared a birthday back in 2006. Since then, we have always wanted to be together for our birthday, but it never worked out.

This year, Jessa and her husband, Bro. Shamgar and little Leah came to the fellowship meeting at Bethany. We finally were together on our birthday! Love you, Jessa; thank you for spending your birthday at the fellowship meeting with me!

Odie's Bethany Fellowship Meeting Notes
Last weekend, we were in fellowship meeting at Bethany Holiness Church. We love being with Pastor Darrell Toliver and the people at Bethany! They always welcome us with open arms.

We were there to do the special singing. It was a blessing to hear some wonderful preaching. Pastor Randy Webb was the night speaker. God helped him challenge our hearts to be ready for revival! All three nights were outstanding messages!

We heard from visiting ministers the two morning services and Saturday youth service. Below, I included my notes from the services. I hope you enjoy a peek into the meeting.

Thanks for reading. See you next week.
