Revival In Pictures - Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Today is Revival In Pictures in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with pastor Leon Rich and his folks. I hope you enjoy it.

Monday night was a terrific beginning to revival at Redemption Holiness Church in Broken Arrow. It was so wonderful to be in the service with our friends as God visited us. Hallelujah!

It was great to have Bro. Jimmie Radcliffe with us this week.

The rest of the week has been good as well. We appreciate the opportunity to be with Pastor Leon Rich and the Redemption Holiness Church congregation for revival. We have a long relationship with these folks and we have enjoyed several revivals with them.

Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan made the long drive to see us Tuesday night. Wow!

Bro. Mitch and Sis. Lynn Boggs made the long drive to see us Wednesday night. Wow Again!

Thank you for joining us for Revival In Pictures today.

Y'all Be Careful Out There, Ya Hear?

This is some kind of wasp that looks similar to a yellow jacket.

All these wasps were on one nest hanging from a building overhang a few feet from our bus door Monday. We pulled in and idled the engine next to the nest while we were leveling, going in and out of the door several times.

We never even saw the nest at all until about 5:00 PM that afternoon. It looked like they were covering the nest about three or four deep! Ouch!

Thankfully, it was cool and they were not moving much and were not interested in us. It would have been terrible if we had stirred them up with Odie in her chair trying to get in the bus.

Monday night, Bro. Rich and Bro. Metheny killed them with wasp spray and the picture above was the remains.

Y'all be careful out there, ya hear? Thank you for reading.

A Word For Wednesday-Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

So glad you joined us today. It is time again for A Word For Wednesday. A few moments ago I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please give it a listen and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

We are instructed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We are also told that we are blessed by God when we bless God's people and we are cursed of God when we curse God's people. Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Thank you for watching today.

The Weekend Dispatch 10/17/23

Our weekend began Thursday morning in Carthage, Missouri at Coachlight RV Park. It had been raining overnight, but slowed to a very light sprinkle as I went outside to prepare to leave. Yay!

I did the work of the evangelist and then took the time to rinse the black tank since the drain and water source were available. Then I attached the Jeep while KJo was cranking the BoggsMobile. Soon we were on our way.

It was interstate most of the way to Bethany Holiness Church in Sand Springs except for the last 6-8 miles. The 140 mile drive took us about 2.5 hours.

We pulled in and Bro. Jimmie Radcliffe was waiting to help us load in, get parked and then set up our sound equipment. He was great help to us all weekend long.

The Camp Meeting started Friday night with Bro. Randy Webb preaching. We were helping with the special singing and altar singing and we enjoyed every service. They had three services Saturday and two services Sunday.

We posted a bunch of pictures from the meeting yesterday.

We were blessed to see many great friends over the weekend and it was especially wonderful to see Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary Landress.

We had a late light Sunday and we were late getting started Monday morning. However, the travel day was only 37 miles and we covered that in 50 minutes. Yay Again!

Getting turned around at Bethany.

Arriving at Redemption.

About 4:00 we loaded in and got our soundcheck and revival service began at 7:30. It is great to be back with Pastor Leon Rich and his folks at Redemption. We enjoyed a great first night and we are looking forward to the rest of the week.

Thank you for joining us today.
