The Weekend Dispatch 6/6/22 El Mirage, AZ

We had another great weekend in Arizona with our friends from Desert Cove. The services all weekend were excellent! It was so good to see God moving and helping His people. We are praising God for His touch.

Friday morning we had a bite of breakfast with Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan before they began their long journey home to Oklahoma. It was wonderful to see them again. As long term readers know, they have surprised us by coming to revivals all over the country and this is the third time they have been with us at Desert Cove. May God bless them for their kindness to us.

We enjoyed a great meal at Golden Corral Friday

Saturday we had a great meal at Arriba Mexican Grill.

This is Sis. Julia on the right and her daughter Robin on the left Kelly Jo.

Sis. Julia and her husband George discovered Desert Cove Church during City Reach Tent Revival in 2016. They were already Christians, but had not found a good church since moving to Arizona from the northwest for retirement.

Bro. George and Sis. Julia settled in at Desert Cove and have been regulars after City Reach. Sadly, Bro. George has passed away since we were here last.

Along the way, we ate some great burritos!

Odie sent in a few pictures from her camera over the last few days.

After changing our view often on our way to Arizona, it is nice to see the same view two Sunday in a row.

Boggs Memorial Day 2022 Recap

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting in for another Saturday post. Thanks for joining me today.

Last Saturday was my Papaw Eugene's birthday. I wrote him a special post last week. You can find it here.

Monday afternoon, our family gathered to celebrate Memorial Day and Papaw's birthday. We had a fabulous day with family and celebrating Papaw! I am always glad to be home for special holidays with my family!

Today I decided to bring you along to see our day in photos. The majority of our Boggs clan was able to be part of the day. We were also joined by some additional family members. It was good to see everyone and spend some time with them.
