Boggs Thanksgiving In Pictures

Today is Thanksgiving and I hope you have a great day planned with family or friends. We will have a brief Thanksgiving video this morning on YouTube with an update on my health progress over the last few weeks.

Boggs Thanksgiving In Pictures
Today we have pictures from the Boggs Thanksgiving dinner next door at Coffman Hall/Dodds Church. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and time with our family. I think just about everyone was able to be present including the Kansas and Alabama contingents.

KJo and I are on the road today and Odie will be having Thanksgiving dinner with the Morgan's. Hopefully, we can get some of those pictures up Friday.

Thank you for stopping by for a few minutes today. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

A Word For Wednesday The Pattern For Prayer Part 2.

It is time for A Word For Wednesday. A Few minutes ago, I posted A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel.

A Word for Wednesday for this week is "The Pattern For Prayer Part 2" In today's Word For Wednesday, The Pattern For Prayer from Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

If you enjoy this, please subscribe, thumbs up the video and share the video with someone.😍

Thank you for stopping by Mile Markers.

Building A Church In Nigeria Update

I mentioned HERE and HERE, that Bro. Shobanke is building a new sanctuary at one of his branch churches in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. They have outgrown their current building and this structure will give them much more room.

We sent them as much help as we could in August and Bro. Shobanke had them send more pictures last week of the progress.

The roof is now complete. Although they have much work to finish the new building, they are able to have church inside, protected from the weather. We are thankful for the progress and we hope to help them with this project more in the near future.

As I mentioned before, we have preached at this church before and we look forward to going back to Nigeria in the future and preaching in this new building. We are praising God for the growth that required a bigger place to gather and worship! Hallelujah!

If you feel like you want to help with this project financially, you are welcome to do so. If you like, you can send it to Boggs Family Ministries, marked for the church in Nigeria and I promise you that every cent will be forwarded to this specific project and will be used for that purpose only.

Thank you for reading today.

Our Weekend Write Up 11/22/21

Friday and Saturday KJo and I worked more in the bus barn. One additional small task was getting Odie's Christmas decorations out of the attic. I am sure she will have pictures of all that later.

We did pause long enough Friday to drive to Ruby Tuesday's in Sharonville to meet Pastor Wade Hicks for lunch. I love the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's and this is the only Ruby's in our area to survive COVID and it is about halfway between us and Bro. Wade.

We had a great meal and super great fellowship with our friend.

Random Acapulco pictures!

Saturday was more of the same for us, plus tacos for lunch! WooHoo!

Compare that to Friday evening's tacos to go from Acapulco. Very good, but not as good as KJo's

Here is one pictures of Odie's tree in progress.

Saturday evening Odie went to eat with my parents and cousin Lisa.

Sunday morning we drove an hour to sing and preach at West Harrison Pentecostal Church for Pastor Wade Hicks and his great people. We had a wonderful service and a wonderful meal. We have been going to West Harrison for years and we love those folks so much. It was great to be there.

Fiesta Grande Fajitas with no tomato and no pepper

After lunch, we hurried home in time to get a short nap and then go next door to sing and preach at Dodds. Pastor Kelly Rogers asked us to be there and we were super glad to do it. We had another wonderful service Sunday night! Praise God!

That was the end of our weekend. We have a few more days at home and then KJo and I plan to hit the road for a few weeks. We do know that we are going to mix some preaching in with rest and vacation. What that looks like for sure, we do not know yet.

Have a great Thanksgiving week.

Our View Out The Window November 21, 2021

Sunday Morning Sanity
This morning's sanity was forwarded to me by our good friend, Bro. Bruce Mayhan and I verified it in several places online as coming from Charles Hadden Spurgeon and Bro. Bruce said.

Take a moment to let this percolate.

Discernment is not knowing the difference between right and wrong. It is knowing the difference between right and almost right.
C.H. Spurgeon

This was our view the first few days of the week before we moved into the bus barn.

Our view out the front window of the BoggsMobile now is the back wall of the barn. That is not very attractive, but a view of my lunch yesterday is beautiful!

Thank you for spending a few moments with us today. Have a great Sunday.
