Appitizer Or Main Event

 Hey Friends,

It is great to see you for a little bit today. We are in Indoor campmeeting mode around here! I will be reporting on indoor coverage for the rest of the week.

The meeting begins at 7 PM at Dryden Road Pentecostal Church, 3201 Dryden Rd, Dayton, Ohio. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday services will be 10 AM, 6 PM and 7 PM. Please join us if you can!

Appitizer Or Main Event

Today, I wanted to share something I thought about Sunday night at church. This thought definitely brought me joy!

The presence of God was so thick throughout the whole service! I was sitting in my seat, basking in the presence of my Almighty God! 

I found myself missing Dad at that moment. I loved watching him soak in the spirit of God moving. It was one of my favorite things to see! Dad loved to run, jump, shout, and rejoice more than anyone I know! Yet, he also loved the sweet, gentle presence of God. Dad would have been so happy Sunday night! I wished that I could see him enjoying the service with me!

Then I thought: this is just a 10th of what Dad is getting to experience right now! For us, Sunday night was just an appetizer!

He is getting to enjoy the main event! Dad can worship the Savior face-to-face! I have feasted on Sunday! I keep thinking of one of my favorite scriptures: “Oh, taste, and see that the Lord is good!”

Friends, we have something unimaginable to look forward to in the future! We cannot honestly know what heaven is like! I know it's going to be incredible!

I hope I get to see some of you at the campmeeting this week. I also hope we get to taste many more appetizers that the Lord has prepared for us. I am coming hungry for more!
