Two Graduation Parties In One

 Hey Friends,

The last couple of days were packed with activities. It may take a few posts to recap Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday was graduation party day for two special people, Seth and Darby.

Seth Erickson Evans

Seth is Mom’s nephew, my cousin, to connect the dots for you. Seth is our “baby” of the 7 Morgan grandchildren. The next family high school graduate will be a great-grandchild!

 Darby Yeager

We claim Darby as family now. Everyone else on the Morgan side of our family has connection to her. 😄

More connectting the family dots for our readers. The graduates mothers are best friends. Seth and Darby have been longtime friends. The Yeager and the Morgan family became officially connected when my cousin Kayla Morgan married Trever Yeager.

Trever is Darby’s brother along with Braden.  Also, my cousin Morgan Evans, Seth’s sister, has been dating Braden for years. So the the Morgan and Yeagers are tight! Oh, and the all attend church together.

They had separate parties at the same venue. The party times overlapped so people could attend both parties if the wanted too. It made it easier to share decorations and food prep for both families.

Graduating high school is a huge accomplishments! I loved celebrating with the graduates. The weather was perfect. It was a great day for food, family and fun!

Here are the rest of my picture from the parties. I tried to capture some of the family, friends and festivities.  Too bad you can't taste the yummy food!

Thanks you for attending both graduation parties virtually! I will be back tomorrow to finish out my Saturday.

Sunday Sanity 6-1-25

 Hey Friends,

Happy Sunday! Here is a brief word of wisdom that stuck out to me recently.

Bro. Jared Burris made this statement in a sermon at church. It spoke to me. I thought it would be a good nugget for Sunday Sanity.

Prayer and life go together.
Where there is prayer there is life.
When there is no prayer there is no life.”
Bro. Jared Burris

Thank for reading. I hope and pray you have a blessed Sunday!
