The Weekend Dispatch

This weekend was more of a normal weekend with closing revival on Friday, traveling on Saturday and then beginning revival again on Sunday morning. It was a great weekend and we are thankful for it.

We began Friday with a pretty but cool day in Charlottesville. Sis. Sipe drove by with her beautiful VW Beetle. So cute!

Friday night was the final night of revival and what an amazing night it was. We had visitors from several churches in attendance and we were so glad to see them all. God sure has blessed us with some super great friends in the family of God! Odie snapped some terrific pictures. You can see Revival In Pictures here.

Pastor Ronnie Sipe and his people were so kind and good to us. It was our privilege to be with them for a few nights and we look forward to going back.

Saturday morning we raised up from slumber and prepared for the short journey to the House of Prayer in Bristow, Virginia. It was only about 70 miles and took us 90 minutes. There were no traffic problems, the weather was perfect and the BoggsMobile was running great. I love days like that.

Here we are as we prepare to leave Charlottesville

We pulled into the church in Bristow and backed the bus up the hill and unloaded the sound equipment. I appreciate Bro. Clayton Burris for helping me unload. In fact, Bro. Clayton, along with several others, helped us load things up the night before in Charlottesville. Praise God for the help.

After we parked the BoggsMobile, we rested a few minutes and then headed up the hill for set up and soundcheck.

Next, we drove 1/2 mile to Tony's for some of our favorite Italian food in this area. Wow! It was good as always.

We had two wonderful services Sunday to begin revival at the House of Prayer in Bristow, Virginia. We are happy to be with Pastor Ken Taylor and his folks again. We love coming here.

That wraps up our weekend. Thank you so much for joining us. See you tomorrow.
