Revival In Pictures - El Mirage, Arizona

We have been having a wonderful week of revival with our dear friends at Desert Cove Assembly in El Mirage, Arizona. Every service has been great and God has been ministering to needs and blessing His people.

We love good revivals and we have been blessed to be in many good revivals here at Desert Cove. Our first revival here was in October 2002 for Bro. Mills. It was scheduled as a two week revival and we nearly shouted our shoe heals off. It was awesome and we have been coming back ever since.

KJo and I were already acquainted with some of the folks when we came that first time. We had met them in Weir, Kansas at the camp meeting at Faith Tabernacle. After that first revival twenty years ago, we were in love with the whole bunch and we have been blessed to know them.

Below you will find Revival In Pictures. I sure hope you enjoy them. I usually post the pictures from early in the week until the end, but for some reason, they are showing up from the end to the beginning. Is that a form of time travel?

Thank you for dropping by.

Three Pictures From Nigeria!

I received a phone call from Bro. Shobanke early this week telling me about the progress in building the new church for one of the branches of Christ Ambassadors Holiness Church in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. I was thrilled to hear about it.

Yesterday, we were even more thrilled to receive a few pictures by email!!

As far as we know, we have not been called to full time missions in Nigeria, but we love to come alongside Bro. Shobanke and his precious people in trying to further their work for the kingdom of God in Nigeria.

We believe it is an amazing privilege and honor to assist them in small ways. We have been blessed to be able to help in this church project and with the GoodNews Christian School and a few other places this year and we hope to do more.

Here is a portion of Bro. Shobanke's email and three pictures. I will write more of our plans for this year below.

Dear Evangelist Boggs,

Praise God, nine doors of the church have been fixed and ten windows out of fifteen windows of the church were also fixed. The church is now coming out more beautiful,

I attached the pictures of the church. We really appreciate you. Thank you from your friend across the ocean.

Pastor E. Ade Shobanke

You can see pictures from April HERE.

The new church is so beautiful!

By God's grace, we hope to be able to help more in 2022 on this construction and we hope to be able to visit Nigeria. Kelly Jo and I have not been there since December 2018, since our September 2020 visit was canceled due to Covid. We have never been away from Nigeria for this long since we first went in 2007.

Nigeria has recently removed some of the entry restrictions that were prohibitive to us. IF that trend continues, we hope to be able to go back for 10-14 days in December 2022. It is definitely in our hearts to go!

Good flights with proper routing are running nearly twice what we usually pay, but that seems to be the pattern in nearly everything. We will probably bite the bullet and pay the inflated price if it comes right down to it.

The visa process is more complicated and more expensive every time we go. If a December visit seems likely, we will begin the visa process near the end of August. We are excited to see our friends again.

Thank you for stopping by today. May God bless you all.

A Word For Wednesday -Transformed Rather Than Conformed and Deformed

It is time again for A Word For Wednesday. This morning, I am posting A Word for Wednesday on our YouTube Channel. Please give it a listen and leave us a comment here or on YouTube.

According to Apostle Paul in Hebrews 12:2, we should not be conformed to the shape of this world. IF we are conformed to this world, we are deformed as a Christian. We should be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We have had several hundred friends dropping by Mile Markers every day for years. Thank you for that. We appreciate it very much. Would you consider clicking on the YouTube link and joining us there as well? It would make our day!

Thank you for stopping by. Please feel free to share this Mile Marker today.

The Sprayer Saga Continues

I missed a few of Odie's pictures yesterday. At the bottom of this post, you will find her pictures from Saturday.

The Sprayer Saga Continues
If you see me selling Hose Spray Nozzles online OR on the side of the road, you will know why.😍

Several of my friends were laughing at me after this January post. I told about owning five good sprayers, yet driving all the way to Texas without one.

Well, the Sprayer Saga continues, with a twist.

We arrived at East Tennessee Luxury Coach in Tennessee on May 7. Early Monday morning, May 9, I hooked my sprayer to Jeff's hose and cleaned out our plumbing bay a bit. We had been having a black water problem and I wanted to clean it up some before Jeff's guys had to work in there.

I distinctly remember removing it from the hose, but the sprayer went totally AWOL after that.

We noticed it was missing while the BoggsMobile was still in Tennessee. I looked all through the compartment where we store such stuff and through another compartment where such things might end up, even though they do not belong. KJo searched the inside of the bus.

After several searches, we declared it lost. Ouch!

We did not need a sprayer until we arrived out here in Phoenix. The Jeep and the front and back of the bus needed to be cleaned something fierce! While at Lowe's, I bought another one while smacking myself upside the head.

Very early the next morning, I opened up the bay that holds the sound equipment. Can you guess what was laying at the edge of that bay? I am sure you can guess and guess correctly!

Right there in front of my face, was the lost sprayer!

Nothing water related EVER goes in with the sound equipment. I guess I should say almost never. Ugh!

Here they are together. The new one that we purchased in January is on the left and the BRAND NEW one we bought just now at Lowe's is on the right.

This is getting ridiculous! 😢😍

KJo and I used both of them while washing the Jeep and Bus, just to make it seem like I MIGHT not be wasting money. I reckon I need to invest in this company.

It was 100-105 degrees the first three days we were here. Wow! Evidently, we had a cold front move in Sunday. It has been way down in the mid to upper 90s for three days but it is going back up tomorrow.

If we need to work outside, we do it very early in the morning. We washed the front and back of the bus and the front of the jeep between 5-6 in the morning.

Here is KJo washing the Jeep at 5:30 AM.😍😎

Now, here are Odie's pictures from Saturday as promised.

Thank you for reading today.
